In my opinion, what makes this mod fun is the fact that there are a lot of players everywhere. If I understand you correctly all 3 servers were full? Then I'd definitely not just decrease the max. amount of players on any server.

Well, it's still a game. If you can type blindly it probably doesn't even matter if you are typing (as long as you can still control your vehicle, that is). If you really start to talk about it being unsafe/unrealistic, then you might also disable the chat completely. Like in real life you also can't chat with the truck in front/next of you without having some sort of communication device. I still think this should be made possible with a toggle in the options. Or disabled completely so it's fair for everyone (steering wheel users).

Haven't experienced this yet, but I have to agree if what's being said here is true. Staying in a non-collision zone for a short while shouldn't get you banned. Wouldn't it be possible to like increase the auto-kick in certain areas, like Rotterdam? If parking isn't allowed you could maybe kick the player after 2 minutes or something. 2 Minutes should be enough to check for jobs/do something real quick/repair your truck/whatever else. Edit: or maybe this might not be a good idea, since if you're in a traffic jam you'd just get kicked way too quickly. And being kinda 'stuck' in a traffic jam is one of the fun things in ets2mp to be honest.

That's why it could be a toggle: either you navigate through messages, or you are able to control your vehicle with it.

I don't see what's wrong with it, needs to be a toggle though, since not everyone might like this, but it can make typing definitely a lot easier, seeing you're on a highway a lot of the times, and can't really type much without having to turn a bit. If you allow it with steering wheels, then it might as well be allowed for keyboards too. +1

Support, saying it in chat is nice, but it would be better if there's a permanent pop-up/text on screen somewhere that's counting down until the update happens. (like 15 or 30 minutes before hand). Yesterday I logged in and started playing until I suddenly disconnected (which happens a lot because of my internet), but I didn't know it was just the servers shutting down (well, I realised shortly afterwards, but still).

Try launching single player and then multiplayer again, or wait a few minutes. I've also had that before and it often starts working again after a bit. OT: Can connect again after the newest ETS2MP update. (20:30)

I don't know, first of all I don't really see the use of it, since really bad drivers (or trolls) would probably get kicked or banned anyway, and secondly, I don't know how the game should detect if you're driving properly or not. Like, if someone crashes into you, I don't get how you (or rather, the server) will be able to detect if YOU are the one crashing into that person, or the other person was. And things like getting a speed ticket doesn't always mean they're a bad driver, I also often drive faster than 90 when I'm just driving on my own and there's no one nearby. So I don't really know if it would really be helpful and accurate. Could be something fun for a high-score yeah, but it shouldn't be displayed next to the player (by default), since I can't believe those numbers will be accurate.
