The developers purposely made the game dark as it is Halloween hopefully it should be changed soon as Halloween is now over.

Everyone's game is set to being only dark as it was for Halloween so there is no need to worry about it there is nothing wrong with your game, The developers should change it soon so it is back to the standard daylight cycle.

[How can i reconnect to the MP without restarting the game?]

If you have been kicked from the game or have been disconnected from the game there is no other way to rejoin the server ingame you have to exit out and relaunch truckersmp
