its allowed (it doesn't really give you any unfair advantages and you can't harm other players with it + MP doesn't have its own economy, so the servers don't care if you have $1 or $1 000 000 000)

^yes it is - you can put any tag(as long as it is by the rules) next to your name (guide for it)
and about VTCs, you need to cover these requirements (currently companies are pretty much only groups of players who drive together, because the MP doesn't have its own economy system)

Relax, it ain't only for you - the server is temporary(?) closed for some maintenance

Send a PM to @Clarkinator  or to the community managers

The servers work in another time zone - I believe You will be unbanned in about 1h

Do you have at least 2h playtime on ATS (cuz that's the main requirement for registering/detecting the games)?

You need to have at least 2h played on ATS before the MP allows you to connect to the servers - are you sure that You cover that requirement (asking, cuz You said that You've bought the game recently)?

We use Steam profiles  because of
their accounts security to prove that you actually own the game to reduce chances for impersonators
