    The new rules show a huge effort and are definitely better and clearer than the old ones. However, I also noted some questions to the rules when I went through them. So here we go... 1. Links to unsafe websites Are there any "famous" pages which are considered unsafe? For example, I got kicked once for posting the link of tmp's facebook profile in chat. So is Facebook considered unsafe? 2. Links to user's social media accounts What about social media accounts which the owner has linked to his tmp profile or forum profile? What about steam profiles? Are those excepted of this rule? 3. Significantly extended hitboxes Can you provide example images of what means "significantly"? Would that be a significantly changed hitbox? 4. Amount and position of items I'm not quite sure but... wouldn't it be shorter if you just write: It's not allowed to place more items than allowed by default by the game. Items not mentioned before are allowed only where permitted by default. Wouldn't that cover all these points? 5. Position of bars So can I use a bullbar as a roof bar? 6. Item amount of bars Does 'limit' refer to the max amount for the entire truck by default or to the max amount for each bar by default? For example if I use 3 bars having as much items as possible by default, my entire truck could have more items than possible by default since it's normally not possbile to use one bar three times. 7. Trailer weight IMPORTANT!!! : Do you refer to the total weight of the trailer or to the cargo weight of the trailer? 8. Weight of doubles/triples These two points are controversial... may I edit the weight of a double trailer or not? 8. Definition of "item" What do you mean by "item"? Any accessory? Or just the hookup accessories? (those who can be placed on a bar) That's important since many players still have tinted headlights, and if "item" refers to any accessory, those headlights wouldn't be permitted anymore.

    That's completely fine, there is no rule against it. And also even if there was, I see no point of this trailer being dangerous in any shape or form.

    Hi, hier ein möglicher Fix, um die Fehlermeldung zu verhindern: Ansonsten würde ich noch raten, Steam immer vor dem Launcher zu starten, aber das hast du ja schon gemacht, wenn ich das aus dem Video richtig gedeutet habe... Wenn es funktioniert, lass es uns wissen (und wenn nicht, dann auch - dann suchen wir nach einer anderen Lösung)

    I still cannot believe what happened.

     

    I know one thing for sure. There is obviously a conflict between you and the team of TruckersMP. I don't know exactly who started it or whose fault it is since both parties are stating the opposite. Furthermore I don't know what made you having this disgusting view of the team.

     

    But you know what? It doesn't even matter.

     

    Short explaination how to solve a conflict:
    What to do: Both parties have to try to find a solution that is fair and also accepted by both parties. In order to do so, it is really important to treat each other equally and to communicate together on a reasonable basis. Remember that if only one of the parties refuses to look for a compromise, the whole try to solve the conflict has failed and it'll keep unsolved.
    What NOT to do: Trying to hurt the other party, blocking the other party, not listening to the other party, saying that all-I-say-is-true-and-everyone-else-is-a-liar, posting bloody pictures, intentionally spamming social media, insulting the other party, taking profile pictures of the other party and combining them with inappropriate picture (not being more specific here, you know what I mean), trying to make everything better by making it worse.

     

    I don't know in which way TruckersMP tried to solve the conflict. They stated that they tried it while you blame them hiding the truth. As I said I don't know it nor does it even matter.

     

    Because I know that you in particular didn't even try to solve it. You decided rather to start a war. Do you even know that you cannot win? If you continue the same way as yesterday then you'll end up in being banned from all TMP services and life continues as it did before... just without you. Is that really worth? All the hate you are spreading will have no impact in future. All you do is shooting yourself in the foot.

     

    At the moment I don't care what TMP did right or wrong. I only care that you made a huge disgusting mistake, and you are not even aware of it. You blame TMP acting against you? Don't you see what you did before? Then why do you complain? If you insulted/spammed me, I would also start to act against you. That's just common sense.


    It makes me sad seeing longtime team members leaving the team, destroying their career/reputation and starting to insult their former friends. Why? Just why? I have expected more from you.

     

    I don't want to start a discussion again, I just wanted to tell you my disappointment. I hope that at least some of you will recognize what they actually did. Please do not try to make it worse and apologize to the people that you might have hurted. It will not change your situation, but maybe you'll feel better afterwards.
    You are also human beings like everyone else here. All you need to do is showing it!

    Hey, launch your game in Singleplayer once and select "Launch with DirectX". Then you can close your game and start MP again. It should work now. For further reference:

    Das gibt es tatsächlich - auch, wenn es da die meiste Zeit ziemlich still ist. Der Kanal Nummer 9 wird - schätze ich mal - von 90% Deutschsprachigen Spielern genutzt. Da ist es zwar wesentlich ruhiger als auf der 19, aber ich selbst (befinde mich auch dort) habe kein Problem damit - manchmal kommt es ja doch vor, dass man jemanden hört

    Before asking whether something is allowed, check out this topic first: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/6812-allowed-mods-mod-guidelines/ I can see nothing that would prohibit anything like this. Actually this case is pretty clear. First of all: Anything being possible without modding is allowed - as far as it doesn't violate driving rules like ramming, wrong way and so on. Changing the color of a license plate is done through save editing, otherwise it would not even work in MP License plates have nothing to do with beacons. License plates do not change the hithox in any shape or form As long as you only change the color/design and not the license plate itself, it's totally fine. I hope it's obvios not to write anything like Police on the plate Changing the color does not affect the funtionality of your vehicle in any way It has nothing to do with trailers, doubles, triples and so on Reminder: Things that are part of the rules are prohibited. Things that are not part of the rules are allowed (exceptions can be made).

    No, it's not common. Basically it means that your game crashed. If that happened in SP, you'd have got the windows error "Euro Truck Simulator 2 has stopped working". Such an error can mean anything. In order to recognize a possible reason for the crash, we need some more information, otherwise we can just guess what it could be. Please go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2, and copy the content of the game.log.txt and paste it at https://pastebin.com/. After having created the paste, share the link of the paste here on the forum. Then do the same for the crash.log.txt file. This way we can try to figure out what the issure is.
