Ok, you don't have to create new profiles for each update.
The flow of the profiles is like that:
- Create a new profile in SP.
- Go with that profile on MP, play...and from time to time (mostly after delivering something) Save the game manually (Esc -> Save game -> new save game).
When an new update of the MP appears load that existing profile that you have made the save.

1) Uninstall the MP.
2) Run dxwebsetup.exe which you can dl from here https://www.microsof...ails.aspx?id=35.
3) Install the MP.
