  1. So, after a solid week of attempting fixes, bug reports, tickets, and fourm posts, my friend cannot get his TruckersMP launcher to open. At this point, we've given up on using it and just want the multiplayer to open. I had the idea of zipping up my installation of TruckersMP, which functions and is fully patched and packed with `launcher_atsmp.exe` and `launcher_ets2mp.exe`, and giving it to him. It, per expectation, did not work, but we tried manually launching the `launcher_atsmp.exe`. It, even on my working fully-patched copy, fails to launch claiming the version is outdated and that I should update, no matter how many times I do so. How do I get this to launch? Edit: Renaming or removing the file does not result in it being re-created. It appears the launcher no longer uses it. What should I try to launch, in that case?
  2. That's how we got here in the first place. We re-installed after a .NET-related failure, so this is a relatively fresh install.
  3. I attempted your solutions, @Sentinel_, to no avail. Visual C++ 2015 is already installed, both 32 and 64 bit. MalwareBytes found nothing but a few PUPs, which it removed. This had no effect. TruckersMP already had a firewall exclusion. (Blocking it yields a different error) Activating the administrator account did nothing. The user account is indeed an admin.
  4. The 'TruckersMP' folder in '%programdata%' does not exist. I've deleted the folder in 'Program Files' and re-installed with admin several times. I am never prompted to 'Install Available Updates', even when running as admin.
  5. The TruckersMP launcher fails to launch with an UnauthorizedAccessException, with the error below: These are the only files that appear: The "Date Modified" is always that date, despite numerous re-installs. This is on a 64-bit Windows 10 system. I've tried the following: Re-installing the launcher Re-installing ATS (ETS2 was never installed) Running the launcher as Admin Running the installer as Admin Setting the launcher and installer to "Run this program as Administrator" in properties Installing the latest version of .NET Framework Installing the specific version of .NET requested by the installer Running the launcher in compatibility mode Running ATS in DirectX mode Running the 'sfc /scannow' command. Nothing was found. What's going on here?
