    Fact 4 — There’s a practical reason why car taillights are red. The rod cells that allow us to see in the dark need time to adapt to the darkness. These cells are less sensitive to longer wavelengths of light, in other words, red light, hence red colour appears dimmer in the dark. This means red light won’t affect our eyes’ adaptation to the darkness, which is very much needed while driving at night.

    We have reached 100% of our target, and we're still a month away from the event.

    The enormous generosity of Aragon, donating £50 has taken us up to £107.36.
