Well, that really depends on your computer specifications and graphic preferences.
I would like to drop by with a guide for you on how you should configure your video settings. This guide will help you point out what's a performance killer and the ones that leave the most/least noticeable changes etc.

Hello,
The thing that is causing this is most likely a in-game issue.Of course there is always a chance of hardware failures but I doubt that is the case.
Try going in-game and changing your steering non-linearity setting all the way to the left and move the steering sensitivity to 50%.
I hope this helps you!

In order not to subdue the game, first enter the Steam application on your computer and right-click Euro Truck Simulator 2 from the library tab and call the features. When SteamVr is active in the new tab, activate the desktop game cinema. Save and exit Steam.

Hello,
This may be more than one cause, please check the steps;
First of all, do not get the job called "External Contract", which limits your speed to 90 km / h.
Remove "Speed Limiter" from the TAB Menu.
The EU 1 Server limits your speed to 90 km / h.
Also, remove the Speed Limit from the game files.
Just open C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. Open 'config.cfg' with a Text Editor, search for the line "uset g_use_speed_limiter" and make sure to put a "0" next to it. Then save and close the config-file and check if your speed limiter keeps disabled now
Best regards.

Hello
In order, to fix this issue I recommend you to follow the next steps:
Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework
Clean your temp files with CCleaner
Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache
If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path by clicking on Move folder...
If the above steps didn't work for you, open Command Prompt as admin and type net user Administrator /active:yes .This will activate the built-in Administrator account.
1-Log out your account and log in the Administrator account.
2-Open TruckersMP launcher and install the updates. Try to launch the game and see it if works.
3-Log out again and log back in with your normal account.
4-If you still have the same error you can keep playing from the Administrator account as a temporary solution.? -
Hello,
I recomend you to check this topics
The most common answer is to run your application as an administrator.
In addition, I will post you the link to the topic with common launcher errors:
Please do so and if it does not help, whatsoever, contact the official TuckersMP support, please: https://support.truckersmp.com/index.php?a=add

if you are not sharing your account you are fine. Probably you got "somebody else is using this account" because you didn't time out from the server when you lost connection, so when the system tried to reconnect you to the server you were still logged in.
You could of just done /pinfo 117 in the game chat, that's how I get the TMP ID. Takes too much time to try and find the player ID in the TAB menu.
I would also suggest to move off of the main road when you're going to report someone through the TAB menu, as I said it takes time and if you sit there long enough then you'll just get reported for blocking since the road in front of you was clear after the guy hit you.
EDIT: Now to find the TMP you must do this:
C:\Users\User\Documents\ETS2MP\logs
Find the date you were playing and open the log_spawning file. (By searching [ctrl + F] and I find Notepad ++ easier to find info.)
Find the player name or server ID.
PS: Admins would rather you do /pinfo in game since it CANNOT be edited, the log spawning file can be edited by the user to change the TMP ID of a certain player to try and report a different player.

Hey, you might have a look to this topic:
I hope that helps you and soles the problem.

Leave the input and output device to "Default" in-game settings when you press TAB to get the multiplayer settings.
You can verify your settings if you go into your Documents\ATSMP\config.txt
Yesterday i was messing with these settings so i could have the game on speakers and voice audio to my headphones but it wasn't working and i was losing the voice sounds.

Hey there, @br3edage;
You need to do both of the following:
1-) Disable the speed limiter in your ETS2/ATS settings (Book Here)
2-) Disable the speed limiter in the TruckersMP tab menu (Book Here)
3-) You could join a server that has the speed limiter disabled completely after doing steps 1 & 2. (Optional)
4-) Steps 1 & 2 on a server with a speed limiter enabled it will limit you to 110kmh/68mph
5-) Any speed on External Contracts cannot go more than 90 km/h.
* To go more than 90 km/h have to remove the limiter and taking those not speed game on External Contracts. -
Hello,
Even when reinstalling the game you will still have a number of settings that will be transferred across from where ETS saves game data.
If you do some digging around the Truckers MP forum, you'll see that similar issues have been reported in the past.
There are a number of things that could be causing this.
As seen on the attached post, one thing to try is to minimize the amount of trucks/drivers that you have operating with your company (therefor the game will be processing less data which could solve the issue),
Another thing to try is running the .exe to the game as an Administrator (Right click and then click "Run as Administrator).
If this fails to work it would also be worthwhile having a look at the crash log that is located in the Documents folder (In the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Folder).
The data in the crash log could help a number of users here on the forum to better understand what might be causing the issue.
Hopefully this helps!
