About what areas of the map are you traveling when it drops? Are you in a high populated area? Are you driving down the highway and suddenly only getting 10FPS causing your game to freeze/rubber band?
Ingame:
- Enable Vsync It is always better to having a Stable FPS Rate around 60 than often a Jumping between 180 till 45 or lower.
- Set Scale to 400%
- Disable MLAA
- Disable DOF
- Set all following Quality Settings to max.
- Disable Anisotropic Filtering by moving the Slider to the left Side.
TruckersMP:
Follow Baldemar Deutsch´s Guide to open the MP Settings. By the Way, Baldemar have to make new Screenshots, this Ones are outdated!
Depending on your Internet Connection and your PC Spec´s, the following Setting Increasing or Decreasing the Graphic Performance and your own Lags or your Lagging to other User.
- Development Logging
- Smoothing Distance
- Load Cabin Accessoires
- Load Flags
- Aditional Lights
- Draw Distance

To avoiding hard Drops, you have to change a few Settings in the Ingame Options, the TruckersMP Options and the Driver Options.
Depending Killafragzilla´s Hardware i suggest the following Settings:

Hello,
try this:
• Go to documents> Euro Truck Simulator 2 and delete the file config.cfg.
• Then go to documents> Euro Truck Simulator 2 / profiles / profileID and delete the files config + controls.sii.
• Try again.
• If this does not work try the following:
• Start the game offline in 64 bits
• Close the game
• Open multiplayer.
• I hope this works

This is a bug with TruckersMP and I'm sure they are already aware and are working hard to try to fix it! Therefore, I ask you to be patient and understand that bugs are normal in any modifications.

Öncelikle iyi hafta sonları dilerim. Bu problemin kesin bir çözümü yoktur. Serverlere girebilmeniz için güçlü ve güvenilir bir bağlantınız olduğuna emin olun. Modeminizi kapatıp açmayı deneyebilirsiniz. Bunun harici TruckersMP yetkilileri problemi çözene kadar beklemekten başka bir çareniz yoktur.

try to do next:
Go to My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\config.cfg
find there a line - uset g_force_reset_economy = "0" change to 1, save and close.
In steam verify interity cache of the game
Enter in singleplayer and type in console - g_force_reset_economy 0
restart your profile and connected to MP

Try this out:
Solution 1:
I would like to know if you are using 2 directories from which you are running you ETS ? If yes, i will write down below what the issue could be.
( This is an example ) I am using 2 separate directories to run ETS, one is located in
drive and i use it for Singleplayer, the other one is located in and it is for Multiplayer.
So, the thing you should try ( if you are using 2 directories ) is to go to the one from where you run Singleplayer ( as you said, you see your profile in SP but no in MP ) and go to "profiles" and copy your profile from there ( profile is like a folder and it is named something like "4214213" and paste it in the other launching directory ( which is meant for Multiplayer ) as well in "profiles" , and after that enter again in MP and see if your profile is there.
Solution 2:
Go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 and from there you should be able to see a folder named "profiles(1.33.2.19s).bak" ( depends on what version of the game you were last time playing on your profile ) and enter that folder "profiles(1.33.2.19s).bak" and you will see folder ( your profile ) named something like "4214213" ( this is just an example ).
This .bak folder is backup folder for your profile if you accidently delete it or lost it somethow, so you are able to recover it.
All you need to do from "profiles(1.33.2.19s).bak" folder is to copy that folder ( your profile ) named for example "4214213" and paste it in "profiles" folder which is located in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 as well,and enter the game again. You should be able to see your profile again.
If this doesn't help you come back here and we will give you other solution !

4-) Oyunun Güncel Sürümde olduğundan emin olun, nasıl emin olacağınıza dağir gene başka site üzerinde bir rehber konu bulunmaktadır, aşağıdaki konu size bu konu hakkında yardımcı olacaktır
5-) Son olarak ise Belgelerim/Euro Truck Simulator 2/ConfigCFC klasörünü siliniz
Tabi ben bu sorun çözümlerini Euro Truck Simulator 2'ye göre yazdım, eğer bu sorunu American Truck Simulator'de yaşıyorsanız aynı adımları ondada deneyebilirsiniz, her iki oyunu Scs Software firması yaptığı için ve oyunlarda herhangi bir değişiklik olmadığı için çözüm yolları hemen hemen aynıdır ^^ Çünkü açmış olduğun bu konuda bu sorunu hangi oyunda yaşadığına dağir bir ibare koymamışsın

Your internet may have a period of "blackout" while on the servers, and to prevent other users issues, you get kicked off soon as that connection drops.
My advice is make sure you don't have any Network Heavy programs running in the background, and if all is well, Your ISP may be the problem.
That server is having some API problems which cause people to fail to connect, so devs are restarting it in order for the fixes to take effect

Oyunu açtığınızda login ekranında sol üst tarafta dişli çark işaretine tıklayın oyunu tamamen açmadan tab menüsü ayarlarını burada yapabilirsiniz. Bu menüden "season effects" ve winter mod sçeneklerinin kutucukları dolu ise boş hale getirin ve oyunu kapatın. Ardından launcher ile tekrar açın.

Ping durumu bazen oyundaki server sunucusundan kaynaklı olabiliyor, bazen de internet sağlayıcığınızın alt yapı eksikliğinden kaynaklı olabiliyor.-Bilgisayarınızı ilk önce bir virüs programı ile taratmayı deneyin.
-Arka planda çalışan sosyal paylaşım siteleri vb. web sitelerini kapatmayı deneyin.
-Vpn kullanıyorsanız kapatın ve dns ayarlarınızı otomatik yapın.
-Hiçbiri çare olmuyorsa format atmayı deneyin.

Hello there,
It seems you aren't the only one having this issue.
This is likely to be caused by DX11. Since DX9 is not supported anymore by SCS, it automatically puts you into DX11 which has a lot of issues with TMP.
If you could change it to launch with OpenGL, that would be great.
To change it to OpenGL, please do the following: My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\config.cfg find r_device and change it from "dx11" to "gl"
OR launch singleplayer from Steam and select launch with OpenGL.

Hello there,
Do you have any mods installed? If so, could you try to delete or move the mods somewhere else not in the ETS2 directory and then try to start it up again? The same thing happend to me a few months ago, because I had some mods installed.

> Go to Steam
> Steam Library
> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 / American Truck Simulator
> Properties
> Local Files
> Verify integrity of game files
> Wait for the process to complete, then attempt to launch MP.
