  1. Hello Idn, Thank you for your question. I am not able to give you the full legal talk, but here is how we currently deal with game logs and ban evaders: As explained in your quote from our Privacy Policy, we gather (technical) data from each player connecting to our game servers. By registering and agreeing to our privacy policy and rules, you gave your permission to let us collect this data. However, due to European privacy laws (GDPR), we are not allowed to store the data longer than necessary, and we have determined 3 months as necessary time. Currently, we do not have an automatic system to check if a new user is evading a ban of another account. It is totally fine to have multiple accounts or have your sibling play on your computer. If we suspect a user to be ban evading, we can compare this data to data from other accounts and see if there are any matches around the time of the ban. Only a few people like our Game Moderation Managers can perform these checks to keep your data safe. After three months, we delete this data automatically - that's correct. Assuming that a player gets permanently banned, waits 3 months, and then creates a new Steam and TruckersMP, we indeed can no longer connect both accounts using our tools. However, we can find ban evaders using other ways not connected to game logs. It does not happen often, but an example would be if a Twitch streamer gets banned and streams TruckersMP the next day. Ban evading bans may not always be based on results from our tools but can also be based on simple research. Unfortunately, this process takes a lot of time, and we spent too much time spotting hackers who have 30+ accounts and just trying to ruin everybody's day. We are looking into ways how we can automate parts of our ban evading lookup process. However, there are plenty of variables we need to consider when reviewing game logs, and therefore, this will stay a task for humans for the sake of only banning people when we are absolutely sure. I hope this answers your question. If you have more questions regarding this or would like to get more information about something I said, please DM me, and I will edit my reply if needed. Have a nice day! Luna TruckersMP Project Coordinator

    New Merch!

Hey Truckers! We are super excited to introduce you to our new merch shop! Not only have we added many unique products featuring our brand-new mascot Haulie but we have also added known products from our old shop. You can find our shop here: https://truckersmp.sellfy.store/ Unlike before, we will keep adding new products to our store to reflect the current season as well as TruckersMP events. These seasonal products are only available for a few months before they get replaced with new ones. Our standard products, however, are available throughout the entire year. Initially, all our Master Trucker Patrons get a 10% discount. We will also release some exclusive products for our Patrons soon. Follow our social media channels so you don’t miss anything! We have listed more information regarding any kind of questions you may have here: https://truckersmp.com/kb/1439 If you have any questions which aren’t answered on the knowledge base, or you have some feedback, please contact Community Management here. Enjoy our winter collection! TruckersMP Team --> View post on homepage
  4. Hey. Thanks for your suggestion. Due to the "new" sound engine FMOD, we removed all of our volume settings and sliders. The volume of the police car siren can be adjusted via the game's truck effects volume slider. //Rejected
  5. Generating jobs for owned trailers is not supported at the moment. But following the overwhelming number of requests, we will definitely look into it!
  6. Hey, the problem is indeed something we've given a low priority for now. We've tried multiple things to make the caravan more stable such as adding an invisible axle etc. As far as I understand what our Add-On Management has told me, the game physics have a problem with such trailers with only one axle. Recently, SCS Software changed the path of the caravan model which caused the game to crash whenever someone tried to open the trailer mod dealership. We decided to use this opportunity to remove the caravan temporarily until we find a proper fix. Maybe use a different trailer or create our own caravan trailer. We don't know yet. However, this does not have a high priority and it is unlikely you'll see the caravan coming back this year. We want to finish other projects first ?
  7. With the release of 1.41 for both games, all accessories and paintjobs are included in the base game files and are therefore accessible even for people who don't own the DLCs. Instead of replacing the accessories or not showing them at all, DLC content is now visible to all players. /Moved to Done
  8. Double and triple trailers have been banned from Kirkenes quarry road. This affects any trailers with more than one trailer part. The feature will be pushed tonight. You can read more here: https://truckersmp.com/kb/1303 //Accepted & done
  9. The forum software was updated earlier today and this "old" rank system was replaced with an entirely new one. We need to discuss how we want to use it and make sure everything is working before we release it. Thanks for your patience!
  10. Hello, Thanks for your suggestion. We will not implement a server for banned players or similar. However, we are currently considering how players banned for specific reasons could still be able to play without affecting other players. For example, players who got banned for insulting others could be chat- & CB-banned for a specific time. Regarding your suggestion, we could review the possibility to give players banned for road-rules-related reasons access to the Arcade server. This way, their driving does not affect anyone and they could still play with their (not banned) friends. This would require us to have an automated system differentiating between a Reckless Driving ban and a Hacking/Ban Evading ban which we don't have at the moment. TL;DR: Maybe in the future but it's too difficult for us to implement with the current system. Have an awesome week! Luna //Rejected
  11. Hello, Thanks for your suggestion. However, we will not try to hinder users from disconnecting. It would be difficult to implement and maintain. Furthermore, in most cases you can clip the incident and find the player by name on our website. You can also use the "History" tab in the TAB window to access information (such as the TMP ID) from disconnected players. This is way safer. Regards, Luna //Rejected
  12. Hello, When the port was updated and attracted so many people for the first time, we considered making it a No Collision Zone. However, it is not possible with our current No Collision Zone system. Luckily, the traffic has decreased and accessing the ferry is easily possible most of the time. So, we do not see it necessary to make the port a No Collision Zone at the moment. Thanks for your suggestion ? //Rejected
  13. Hello, We do not plan to implement this modification or add our own version of it. This is a suggestion for SCS to work on and hopefully implement in the future. Thanks for your understanding, Luna //Rejected
  14. Hey, Thanks for your suggestion! We actually have something similar planned already which will most likely arrive within the next few months. I will accept this suggestion as it will be part of this update. //Accepted
  15. Hey, Thanks for your suggestion. We discussed this internally a lot and there are positive and negative aspects of this feature. On the one hand, it would indeed be a step towards a more simulation-like experience. Some players might pay more attention to the road rather than just checking the GPS before running a red light. On the other hand, however, it is very risky. Sometimes players do not render in time wherein real life the vehicle would have been visible for a long time. Players have the option to reduce the render distance which is useful for low-end devices. Imagine playing with a low render distance and trying to exit the service station in Calais or cross a busy intersection. While we would love to implement this, we can not do it at the moment. The option to disable player dots is there for all players in the TAB settings, you are more than welcome to use it if you're confident enough. Thanks for your understanding. //Rejected
  16. Hey, Thanks for your suggestion. As mentioned in my comment on this suggestion, the No Collision Zone in Duisburg is not supposed to stay. We would rather update the entire city than adding signs warning users. In case the map edit for Duisburg will take longer, we might reconsider this suggestion. //Rejected
  17. Hey, Thanks for your suggestion. As mentioned in my post in our hot topic from earlier this year: Yes, we plan to remove the No Collision Zone in Duisburg. However, we will not do this until we have a proper alternative which will most likely be an edited version of Duisburg. More information: //Accepted
  18. Update: Erste Abipruefung geschrieben (Geschichte). Es ging um die Amerikanische Revolution mit Semesteruebergriff zu Erinnerungskultur/Nationsbildung. War fancy.
