  1. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [CM] Driving School was marked as the answer
    Hey!

Currently we have no plans to develop a "Driving School" like you have described, that would indeed be more of an SCS suggestion.

However, I can say that currently the CM team is looking at possible ways to support new members of the community through different methods such as video tutorials and so on. I cannot guarantee this will happen but it is definitely something we are thinking about!

    Thanks,
    Owen.
  2. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [CM] Will ets2 physics mod come? If not, why is there a speed limit? was marked as the answer
    Hey,

The current physics mod is indeed dialled down to avoid issues which may increase stress on the workload of the Game Mod team. We have no current plans to change the way this mod affects the physics and think it is sufficient enough.

    Thanks,
    Owen.
  3. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [CM] Promoting TruckersMP in 2022 was marked as the answer
    Hey,

Thanks for your very in-depth questions. I will do my best to answer them.

1 - We have done interviews previously and so there's definitely nothing to day we wont do this. However, currently, we have no plans to go out and search for these opportunities. Though its not a definite no and could be considered in the future.

2 - I suppose, never say never, we have had contact with SCS in the psst and continue to have such contact. We know of eachothers existence. However, I wouldn't necessarily say that this is something to look out for and there isn't any plans to do this at the moment. Maybe this will change, that is something for the very far future though if it were to happen in my opinion.

3 - There are certainly plans to do more things with partners and hopefully we can get those done. There is obviously issues with coordination, we all have huge operarions and so getting everyone board can be difficult sometimes. Hopefully, we will get some fun and exciting things done though!

4 - I don't necessarily see Gleam as a specific platform to use. Especially on a large scale, but we may consider doing giveaways for sure, as I have said before, there are no guarantees on this as it depends heavily on available finances.

I hope this answers all of your questions.

  4. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [PC] Are there any plans to create processes for dealing with deceased staff members? was marked as the answer
    Hey,

Firstly, I just want to say that everyone in this team was hit very very hard by the loss of Sanamaria, she was an incredible person and an amazing person to work with.

Secondly, the lack of an "official statement" doesn't imply or at all suggest that we have disregarded her loss in the slightest. When something as upsetting as this happens, there's one key thing we must consider and that is privacy. We have absolutely no right to publicise the loss of a staff member and would never do so without explicit permission from their family.

There is no need for a "system" or "checks and balances" for dealing with the loss of a staff member. I also would say its rather inhumane to suggest that this is now a precedent. Someone lost their life, we are not setting a law. It is incredibly sad and so many people in our team and across the community are mourning the loss of their friend.

    1. Bereavement is handled differently by everyone and so people are encouraged to speak to others.

    2. Unfortunately, TruckersMP is an online community and there is very little we can do in official terms to support families. Furthermore, we have no right to approach a grieving family in such a manner. If they approach us then it is different.

    3. Accounts are protected and won't be touched.

Let's please also consider that questions like these can reintroduce the past for those who are struggling. The loss of Sanamaria was devastating and so many staff members and community members are still struggling to come to terms with that. Lets please avoid publicly asking these sorts of questions in the future.

  5. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [Developer] projects was marked as the answer
    Hey,

As a CM, we are pretty involved in the delivery of projects, I can say that we have quite a few big projects in just the first half of 2022, I cannot really put a specific number on that unfortunately. However, I can guarantee that the community will really enjoy these projects and I would arguably say that 2022, as of right now, is looking like it could possibly be one of our strongest years so far in terms of projects and exciting features that are coming to the platform! ?

I hope this answers your question!

  6. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [CM] ATS Hotspot was marked as the answer
    Hey!

I would say from personal experience that most ATS players hang around areas like Las Vegas and so on, this is where I have often found many players in one city.

    I hope this helps,
    Owen.
  7. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] Triple Monitor Support was marked as the answer
    Hey,

I am afraid that this doesn't really have much to do with TruckersMP since three monitor support has very little to do with our mod specifically so making a guide is pretty much useless in reality. If you want to make a guide you can do so on our forums here. Other than that, google would be best for this question.

  8. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] New trucks was marked as the answer
    Hey!

I am afraid that the creation of trucks etc are all managed by the games creator, SCS. To find out about the progress of these trucks, you'd need to direct a question to them on their communication platforms.

  9. Owen.'s post in [ANSWERED] [Dev] Launcher.. was marked as the answer
    Hey!

We already support this, you can "relog" into the game by clicking on the Launchpad button in the paused menu, and you can reselect a profile and that will take you to the server selection screen once again. I hope this answers your question! ?

    Hey there!

Winter mod support will end towards March time when the Spring Mod will inevitably be supported once again as usual. I hope this answers your question!

  11. Owen.'s post in I just get an idea for beginners guide. was marked as the answer
    Hi there @Ticreut29,

I am afraid that a guide of similar purpose has already been made here:
If you think of another guide then you can always post it here and wait for it be reviewed by our Community Managers!

    I hope this helps,

  12. Owen.'s post in Joining a VTC on TruckersMP was marked as the answer
    Hi @Ballistic.Hellcat,

Driving for a VTC is great fun if you find the best one for you! The VTC area is located here https://truckersmp.com/vtc and you can browse different VTCs whether they're new or verified etc!

To apply they need to be on the Recruitment: Open and then they'll have their own recruitment process. Many with their own websites will do it through there or their discords etc. It's simply a case of reading the correct section that explains how to apply  For example, a VTC like Prime Logistics (I'll link them here for credit) hires via their website. So go to their VTC page and follow the instructions there to apply. A lot of VTCs use different systems, so it's all down to finding the one for you and reading the information on there page!

I hope this helps and you find a VTC for you!

  13. Owen.'s post in My profile is gone was marked as the answer
Since you used that profile on 1.37 it will now not be compatible with 1.36. However, you can always load a previous auto save for 1.36 - although if you can't seem to locate your profile that won't be possible. I would first look to see if your profile still exists by going to this folder location : Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Profiles

If your profile is not there, you will unfortunately have to create a new profile. I would suggest creating it on 1.36 and then only upgrading to 1.37 when TMP upgrades, if you're wanting to play TMP that is.

Another option would be downloading a profile (there are many available to download with a quick google search) and these profiles will likely come with a lot of money and pre-discovered garages.

I've never heard of someones profile just disappearing so I hope this helps
