      • To prevent tools based on reading our logs from breaking, the naming convention has changed:

        • Spawning logs: log_spawning_2022.06.19.log to log_spawning_2022.06.19_log.txt
        • Chat logs: chat_2022_06_19.log to chat_2022_06_19_log.txt

    • Support New Summer Graphics/Weather v4.8 modification from grimes

    Fixes

    • Fixed an exploit in the collisions system (thanks ResTed!)
    • Fixed the liftable axle state of truck and trailer on the spawn
    • Fixed calculation of the shortest distance for a generated job
    • Fixed "unknown semaphore state" error
    • Added missing texts for the Hungarian language
    • Fixed a bug with the source/destination company being wrongly selected when copying a job to/from a city with multiple companies of the same name in the Truck Delivery Dispatcher (thanks chat)
    • Fixed the usage of UTF-8 characters in paths. This previously prevented the creation of logs when using non-ASCII symbols in the Documents path

    • Rework of the liftable axle system to address the unreliability of the axle state and sound issues

      • Warning and error notifications are now rendered even when the interface is disabled
      • The server can invoke notifications as well; this is now used for the headlights kick warning

    Hey there!

     

    We are very proud to announce that a new version 0.2.3.7.0 has been released introducing the second version of Truck Delivery Dispatcher!

    This does not only allow you to create custom jobs but also share them with your friends. Take a look at the original changelog for more information:

     

    The main focus of this version is bringing support for owned trailers. This means you can create a cargo offer for your own trailer.

    This also comes with a significant overhaul to the user interface. The new version of the dispatcher looks like the following:

    UI Changes

    • The whole window is much more compact and groups similar components in a more logical way
    • A new UI component has been created specifically for the dispatcher: autocomplete
      • This works in a similar way as the previously used combo box
      • You can search for items by their name. So for example, if you type "Poland", you will see all cities located in Poland
      • This component is available for cities and cargos
    • Prism UI components have been integrated into our GUI library. This means you can now move around the window with the trailer preview

    Key Features

    • As already mentioned, when you own the attached trailer, you can generate a cargo offer for it
    • The dispatcher is not just about generating jobs. So if you try to copy such a job from somebody else, you can use their trailer along with it, as you can see below:

    The trailer can be copied only if you own used DLC and Steam items.

     

    Other Features

    • The source and destination company can now be previewed on a map. Clicking on the "Display Map" button will open a special window with the world map
    • The urgency of the generated job/cargo offer can be customized. This affects the XP review from the job
    • You can view the job information before it is created. This consists of the land distance, the estimated time of arrival, ferry distance, and ferry price (if applicable)
    • The trailers list has received a filter. When it is enabled, only trailers complying with the laws of source and destination countries will be listed. This for example respects the laws of double trailers
    • As picking a cargo can sometimes be hard, not only you can view it in the trailer preview now as well, but you can pick a random one by clicking one button
    • The caching of cities and cargoes has been improved reducing save loading times

    Allow, but not officially support, connections from [oculus] beta branch versions of ATS and ETS

    The VR support is not possible due to the nature of our modification. This is due to multiple reasons:

    • We have to support each game binary individually (like we support new game versions).
    • If there is a mismatch of versions (e.g., different map data), it creates a lot of problems, both for players and us.
    • We would have to distribute two different binaries for each game. If we create new functionality, both these binaries need to be updated.

    Seeing all the numbers in perspective, it makes sense to provide a support for it.
    Unfortunately, as I have mentioned above, this is not really viable unless SCS Software decides to merge the VR branch into the stable version.

     

    Nevertheless, thank you for taking your time to create this suggestion.

    Friends and company members usually have each other in Steam friends. That is the idea of the default setting.

     

    We are not going to change this as having it Public by default is not user friendly and is not respecting the privacy of an individual.
    In busy areas, users could be flooded with invitations from others without having an idea why.

     

    Nevertheless, thank you for taking your time to create this suggestion.

    @MarkON, thank you for your feedback to the job tracker.

    As I have mentioned in the change log, the system is now primarely used only for the event. We just thought that it would be nice to keep track of all jobs when we already have it. World of Truck contracts, on the other hand, work a bit differently and need a special care. In other words, they are not currently supported. Though, I can assure you that a lot of things are still work in progress and there is more to come.
