    Hey there!

    We are very proud to announce that a new version 0.2.4.1.0 has been released bringing the first big update to the bus job system!

     

    After going through all the feedback regarding this new system, we have noticed that one of the biggest concerns was the lack of a reward after finishing a bus job.

    Therefore, each finished is now rewarded with a payout!

     

    Bus Job Features

    • Finished bus job is now rewarded with a payout
      • The job is financially rewarded based on the driven distance
      • Any sustained damage reduces the payout based on how bad it was. When the damage is too bad, no payout is issued
      • The amount of rewarded money is subject to change
    • More information about the bus job can now be found in the Current Job tab in the Route Adviser
      • This includes the name of the next bus stop, the expected arrival time at the next bus stop, and more
      • The expected arrival time is based on the navigation data, it does not replace and does not correspond to the time shown in the DBus World overlay
    • Custom waypoints are no longer removed from the map when arriving at a bus stop

    Hi there!

    We are very proud to announce that a new version 0.2.4.0.0 has been released introducing a new way to play TruckersMP - buses!

    This is a full-rich gameplay system with boarding passengers, stopping at multiple stops, and more! Check out our blog post for more information.

     

    Features

    • Custom bus vehicle with its own interior as well (created by DBus World)
    • Animations of passengers boarding the bus, fully synchronized
    • Bus routes with multiple bus stops, each bus stop has multiple boarding places
    • The place where to stop is indicated by a model in the world
    • The route is automatically set in the navigation
    • Integration into the game HUD
    • Voice announcements of the current and next bus stop
    • Short tutorial appears when the system detects incomplete configuration

    This all has been done in cooperation with DBus World.
