Cowie's post in Ban Evading was marked as the answer
Hi there,
I am glad to see you ask this question, and I will do my best to answer it as it directly pertains to my department.
While I cannot disclose any specifics regarding how we check for ban evading internally, I do not personally recommend playing from shared computers or public places as this can complicate certain potential ban evading situations. However, there is no rule in place regarding that and you are welcome to connect to your TruckersMP account from anywhere in the world at any time. However, full disclosure that our system can, in some cases, flag accounts for ban evading when it is not actually the case, so in case you are banned in this kind of situation, you are welcome to create an appeal and explain your side of the story.
Note: My response to this topic cannot and will not serve as counter-evidence to defend you in case of any ban. My response only contains information that could potentially help you.
I hope this helps!

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] [GMM] Enforcing Speed Limits was marked as the answer
Hi there,
Thank you for your question.
While we will continue to push for a more realistic/simulation experience on our servers, and even though we do continue to discuss possible changes among the management, changing our server speed limits in any way is not currently part of our plans. While we cannot say for sure whether we will ever consider this or not, it is not currently on the table. I hope this answers your question!

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] [GMM] Winter Mod Struggles was marked as the answer
Hi there,
Thank you for your question.
To answer your question, our staff themselves were not necessarily impacted by supporting the winter physics mod on our servers. However, in terms of bans, we do certainly see a number of bans being issued due to players losing control of their vehicle while driving with this physics modification activated. In consequence, a new ban appeal excuse tends to increase in popularity during this time if the year. More precisely, when the winter mod (+physics) is supported on our servers, many players will use this to their advantage to appeal their ban blaming the winter mod for their poor driving. However, as a reminder to everyone, playing with this mod enabled does not grant you permission to violate our rules.
It is important to adjust your driving to the road conditions, as you should do in real life. Therefore, when you are playing with this mod enabled, it is highly recommended to reduce your speed in case of any ice on the road that could cause you to lose control. Most importantly, we do not accept the excuse of "winter mod, sorry!" in ban appeals, despite how many players continue using this in their appeals every year.
I hope this answers your question!

Cowie's post in Question about ban evading was marked as the answer
Hi there,
You are more than welcome to use multiple accounts, as long as neither of these accounts has an active ban. As soon as one of your accounts are banned, it is forbidden for you to connect to our servers from any account for the full duration of the ban. Hopefully, this answers your question!

Cowie's post in *Massive FPS Drop when opening TAB Menu* was marked as the answer
Hi there,
Sorry to hear about the problem you are having. Frame drops while opening the tab bar is a problem that I have heard of quite a few times over time. Personally, I also had this problem. Thankfully, there is a solution that works for most players that experience this problem. Hoping this will help you, I invite you to follow these few steps:
• Go to your Steam library;
• Click on your ETS 2 game and select "play";
• Select "Launch with OpenGL" 64 bit;
• Drive a short distance in-game, then save your game;
• Launch TruckersMP
Hopefully this helps you!

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] [HR] Some questions was marked as the answer
Hello there,
Thank you very much for sharing your questions here with our Human Resources Team! Firstly, I would like to introduce myself before answering each of your questions in detail. I am ccowie and I represent the Human Resources Team as the newest member of the Human Resources Team. My duties include handling feedback tickets with the Human Resources category, ensuring all of our staff members are happy, resolving internal conflicts, creating and managing recruitment periods, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates to join our staff team and much more. For now, let's get to your questions!
1 → Since we have quite a few managers here at TruckersMP, I will not ask each individual manager to answer this question, however, I will share as much as I know in regards to your first question. It is true that some managers rarely enter our servers to play the game, however, they continue managing a team here at TruckersMP and do that quite well. Since many of these management positions do not require you to enter the servers at all, many managers choose to use their time to work on their duties rather than playing the game themselves. Of course, this also depends on the person and how much time they have. Personally, I am a common TruckersMP player. I play on the servers several times per week and find that I am often also doing my duties in-game! I say this because I am often asked questions regarding applications or similar while driving in-game and since I am part of the Human Resources Team, it is my job to answer such concerns, therefore, I can also enjoy the game while answering the community's question which is something I like a lot!
2 → Every sub-team within our large staff team has their individual duties and as such, everyone has work to be completed. It is quite difficult to answer this question since the work-flow for many teams can fluctuate meaning that at times, they are very busy and at different times, they may not have as much work to handle. For example, as a member of the Human Resources Team, I find more of my time is required when we have team recruitments open. For example, right now, we are looking for new staff for 3 of our teams meaning that we must review applications for all of these teams simultaneously which means that currently, we have quite a bit of work. In a few weeks or month, we may not have as much work once we conclude these current ongoing recruitments. While looking at staff that are not part of the Upper Staff team, we can take the Event Team for example. This team primarily only works during events which are becoming more frequent, actually. Usually, these events are on the weekend meaning that during the week, the members of our Event Team are not required to dedicate as much time to the project. Again, this is a team that their work-flow fluctuates also. At the end of the day, everybody has different tasks, therefore, I would not say that upper staff must devote more time than lower staff, however, at certain times, this is true.
3 → Due to our Information Security Policy (ISP), I am unable to elaborate on the activity requirements of our management team. However, I can confirm that a manager going inactive will not be appreciated or accepted. If a manager must be inactive for a period of time, they will follow internal procedures for doing so in order to ensure that we can continue operating without them.
4 → Our staff team are expected to comply with the official TruckersMP rules, of course. Failing to do so is highly unprofessional and will not be tolerated by our management team. Without sharing any confidential information, it is possible to see previous suspensions from our team in the staff changes topic which are occasionally related to inappropriate in-game behaviour. Depending on the severity of the rule violation, it is certain that the severity of the punishment applied will also be modified. Regardless of how long a staff member has been part of our team, we will make no exceptions to rule violations. Every staff member is required to obey with the rules that they agreed to upon connecting to our servers, as is every other player. Regarding the difficulty level of handling staff members who violate the rules, it is always very disappointing when we are informed that one of our own team members went against the official rules, however, I would not say that we have the most difficult job in the team since every role comes with its own difficulties and as such, every role can be challenging at times, as can be the Human Resources role.
5 → Gender is not something that every staff members makes public, and as such, it is not possible to get an accurate answer to this question. However, most of our staff sub-teams have at least one female member with a few exceptions. Of course, gender is never taken into consideration while reviewing applications and similar, however, we find more male players playing our game, or at least more male players applying to join our staff team.
6 → Usually, we will find suitable applicants during every recruitment, however, this is not always the case. We have recently extended our Add-on Team recruitment. Extensions can be made to recruitments should we be lacking staff and in need of new talent. Teams such as the Add-on Team requires specific talent and knowledge and can, therefore, be a team that is hard to fill. We have not yet had an on-going recruitment that never ends, and currently, we do not have any plans to host such a recruitment.
7 → As you know, we have a Translator Team here at TruckersMP. Not only do these people help with public translations, they are also there to assist with accuracy in our replies to reports, appeals, etc. Thanks to these people, we are able to support more languages throughout our community!
With all of that being said, I hope to have clarified some of your doubts regarding our team and answered some of your questions. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via the forums, where I will remain at your disposition. For now, I wish you an excellent day!

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] CB USAGE was marked as the answer
Hello there,
Thank you for getting in touch with us here via the Q&A section of the forums. As I can see, you are suggesting a language restriction on the CB radio in-game.
In my personal opinion, this is really not an idea that should be implemented. Since we are an international community that supports many languages, there is no reason why only people who speak English should be permitted to communicate with other players on the channel 19. After all, unless you edit this setting, channel 19 is the first channel that you will be directed to when you open your game, meaning that new players would potentially struggle to change channels in order to find the channel that corresponds to the language they wish to communicate in. If you are unhappy hearing other people communicate in alternative languages, you are welcome to disable your CB radio and to refer to a Discord server (for example) to communicate with your friends in the language of your choice, which appears to be English.
With all of that being said, I hope you understand. I will remain at your disposition here on the forums should you have any further questions or concerns in regards to this post. For now, I wish you a great day!

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] Trucks was marked as the answer
Hello there,
Thanks for getting in touch. I would like to remind you that the Q&A section of our forums can only be answered by the management, therefore, I will go ahead and share my personal opinion on your question!
Personally, I would love to see some older trucks in both American and Euro Truck Simulator. Having a variety of trucks on our servers would even improve the simulation aspect and I will support anything that does so! As for the trucks currently in-game, my favourite American truck is the Kenworth W900! When playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, I prefer the Volvo trucks, though, I am do not have a preferred model.
With that being said, I hope to have answered your question! Have a great day.

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] Question to about requesting an event server was marked as the answer
Hello there,
Having a convoy control team is optional, though, it is strongly encouraged in order to help keep your convoy organized. Keep in mind that event servers will only be granted to convoys with a large number of participants. With that being said, a large convoy no convoy directions is not ideal since this will likely result in the convoy being split etc. If you have enough participants that you wish to request an event server, you are free to do so.
If you are looking for assistance to help run your convoy, you can firstly approach members of other Event Teams, for example, members of the RLC event team (there are many more also) since these people already have experience with convoy management and may be available to help with your event as well! Our official Event Team staff here at TruckersMP are also properly-trained and experienced to handle large events. Most of our Event Staff are active in the community with unofficial events too, therefore, you can always approach some of them and see if they would have the time and interest to assist with your event. Furthermore, several teams exist that specialize in convoy control. For example, we often see Convoy Security Group handling that part of events during certain public events. To conclude, there are so many people in our community that would love to help manage, organize and assist with convoy control for public events, therefore, you should simply start looking around the community and making connections with these people.
With all of that being said, I hope to have answered your question. I will remain at your disposition via the forums should you have any further questions or concerns in regards to this matter. For now, I wish you an excellent day!

Cowie's post in [ANSWERED] Joining TMP Development Team was marked as the answer
Hello Kingstanis,
I hope you are doing well! Thank you for getting in touch with us regarding your question concerning joining the Development Team here at TruckersMP. We truly appreciate your interest in helping develop our modification and improving the experience of our players! With a community of nearly 4 million players, having an experienced Development Team is very important. Because of this, it is not often that we accept non-staff members to join our Development Team. However, this has been done before and could potentially be repeated again in the future.
If you feel that you have the right skills to join our Development Team, you can always submit a feedback ticket towards the Project Management here: https://truckersmp.com/feedback/
Because this is a rare type of recruitment, we don't publicly share the requirements for this specific role, etc, however, I would like to remind you that the following are the rules and requirements that apply to all of our teams:
Have good knowledge of TruckersMP and the rules Must be a member of TruckersMP for at least 12 months Must be registered on the TruckersMP forum for at least one month No bans within the last 12 months Must have no more than 3 bans Active on the forums or on our official Discord guild Must have overall good behaviour, which includes forum, Discord and our official social media pages You have sufficient knowledge of English language and the one which you apply for Good communication skills Resilient, active and flexible Ability to work within a team and on your own at times Eager to learn and progress your knowledge Organised and adaptive Be able to accept constructive criticism
I would also like to point out that due to legal reasons, it is only possible to join our team is you are at least 16 years of age. Unfortunately, we cannot recruit anybody under this age as it would go against the law.
When submitting your feedback ticket (if you do), it is important to include the most important information possible! You should include your past Development experience, what you could offer the team, why you would be the perfect fit for our team, why you want to join, what you do in your personal time, how much free-time do you have, etc. The more information you provide, the more information the Project Management will be able to base their decision on! You should also know that the only thing that the Development Team handles out of what you mentioned is the game version updates. The other things that you have mentione are part of the duties of our Add-On Team. For that reason, I am also sharing more details in how to join the Add-On Team below.
Unlike the Development Team, the Add-On team is actually one that you can apply to join without using the feedback system! Lucky for you, we currently have an ongoing Add-On Team recruitment at the moment which may be of interest to you. To join the Add-On team, you must also meet the requirements listed above as they are global requirements for any team you wish to apply for. For the Add-On Team, we have some aditional requirements which are the following:
Problem solver Knowledge of at least one of the following: 3D Modelling using Blender Texture Creation Animations using Blender Map editing (using the map editor built into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator) Units (also known as definition files used by Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator) Knowledge about player trends in TruckersMP that would help when planning content Examples of your previous modifications (for Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator) or proof of your ability in one of the above fields, for example 3D modelling Familiarity with Git or similar is a bonus
If you would like to know more about the current Add-On Team recruitment, I encourage you to visit this page:
The recruitment will continue until the 9th of September, so feel free to work on your application until then!
I hope that with that being said, your question has now been answered. Good luck if you apply to join the Development Team or the Add-On Team!
Kindest regards,
TFM DJ ccowie

Cowie's post in Double remorque was marked as the answer
Bonjour,
Merci.
Sincèrement,

Cowie's post in About modifying the TAB prefix color, causing the game to crash was marked as the answer
Hello, Bonjour,
You can always try to change this before even choosing a server! When you first open TruckersMP, you can find a settings wheel. Change it there.
If you are someone who likes to do everything the most difficult way, what they did on the link below works too.

Cowie's post in About colored trailers was marked as the answer
Hello, Bonjour,
I believe this is not possible. What I recommend you to do is get the trailer in SinglePlayer the first time and simply save your game so that whenever you want to use that trailer, you have a save for it. Let us know if you need more help or if this is sufficient.

Cowie's post in CANT ACTIVATE PROFILE was marked as the answer
Hello, in order for TruckersMP to verify that you own the steam version of American Truck Simulator, you will need to set your profile to public.
How to do so can be found through this link: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4113-YUDH-6401
Also, keep in mind that family sharing does not work for TruckersMP, you must own the game yourself on your steam account.

Cowie's post in Lost profile was marked as the answer
Hello, put your entire profile folder in the euro truck simulator 2 profiles folder. Your profile folder should be a series of numbers. Once you have put that in your profiles folder, restart your game. It should appear.
In the case that this does not work out, you can use a save game profile which I will link below.

Cowie's post in Not counting event orders/Nesčítání zakázek eventu was marked as the answer
Hello, from what I understand from information given is that your world of trucks loads are not counting to the event. Please make sure your loads meet these requirements.
1. Your loads are longer then 200km
2. You are doing external contract loads and not freight market.
3. You are hauling racing components.
4. You are delivering to different cities each time.
If all your loads fall under these requirements and you still have the issue please reply here. Thank you!

Cowie's post in Overturned trailer was marked as the answer
Lots of stuff like this happens on the Truckers.MP Mod, just simply cancel the job and take a new one, or if you wanna be safe you can switch over to single player when picking up trailers and then switching back over to multiplayer.
