  1. Hey again! As i mentioned in my first comment, there are many procedures that GMMs must follow while dealing with applications and many people think this is gonna take up to two weeks or so. Unfortunately, this is not like that. There are THOUSANDS of players applying for the GM team (the most wanted one) and only 4 managers taking a look at them all. It's pretty obvious that they can't review all of them in just two weeks because there are thounsand of task they must deal with as GMMs too (internal and public work). The applications for this role can take MONTHS, depending on the workload that Game Managers have. Personally, when i applied to join the team back in 2019, my application took almost 2 months before being accepted because it has to go through MANY stages. Isn't just "New - Under Review - Accepted", there are more phases and again, depending on the workload GMMs have this may take more or less time. You need to also know that hey must lead a whole team, including working alongside GMLs, GMTs, GMs, rules, internal rules/changes, applications, systems that need to be improved, etc. Every thing i mentioned here takes a lot of time and efforts, isn't something you do in 5 minutes and then you have 23,9 hours to deal with applications. The workload is quite high and therefore everything must be reviewed correctly. And of course, the most important part, they do this on their FREE TIME, because as you know, we don't get paid for doing anything of this. They will want to spend time outside home or maybe playing other games too. The patience is the key and this will help you to achieve things too. Unfortunately, if you expect we to deal with absolutely everything in a short frame of time, you will get dissapointed. Now, talking about your applications, i don't have much to say about that cause i can't see them, and even if i can i'm not allowed to talk about that in public. GMMs have their reasons and can decline any application if what you say do not convince them. There are many factors taken into consideration while reviewing every app and even if you meet all the requirements, you can still get declined if they don't see sufficient potential or similar things. Don't get demotivated, if you would like to join us, just make sure you understand all the points i've mentioned above and try harder next time. Remember, be patient and understand that you are not the only one applying for the role, many others will try and they might have more potential, that's why they get accepted. I hope i can help you out with all my comments!
  2. Hello, I will provide my PERSONAL opinion and i'm not talking as a Staff Member, i'm talking as Reja, just another member of this community. Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to sound rude at all. I personally feel that this post was created just to complain about you not being hired/accepted into the team, instead of actually providing ideas or interesting points to talk about. Unfortunately, that doesn't look really good if you would like to join the team. Of course we do accept different ideas and we can discuss them, but when someone just makes a post thinking they should get accepted over the others for no reason and because they think they "are better" than then rest, i don't really think that GMMs nor TMP Management will like that. Even if you join the staff team as GM tomorrow, our current problems (cause yes, we have things we must improve as every community) will not be solved just because YOU joined the team. And if you ask why am i saying this, is because you clearly said the following sentence: They are well aware of the fact that I would be good at the job, and they would rather take someone who has only 300 hours on the game. It's not all about how much you have played on the game there are more factors, and stuff. Now it's finally starting to become a situation where more of us are needed and my words became in true. Trust me, you have no idea how stressful and complicated our work can be sometimes. Many people think that being a GM just means "bans for everyone", but the work behind the scenes every day is extremely time-consuming and stressful. After reading your post i feel that your ego might be a bit elevated when you don't know how we work internally as GMs at all, the issues we have and many other things i cannot mention due to ISP. You joining the team will not change much, we have many members who are continuosly trying to help with ideas and feedback to help y'all (the community) and these changes are still quite complicated to implement for many different reasons. Another interesting point is the "experience" as a player. Yeah, of course that if you play TMP since 2014/15/16 actively you might have more knowledge about game-related things, but that doesn't prove much. Being an old member doesn't mean you will be a perfect GM at all, so, this ideology that people have isn't correct. You must go under training for a few weeks, then a trial period for some months and after having a year within the red team, your Leader and GMMs will know if your performance has been good and have had a good quality. Isn't just "ah okay i play since 2014, i'm 100% better than people with 500 hours". Here you also said; "at least someone who has more experiences about bugs and just all the stuff in game" in one of your comments. The GM team has nothing to do with bugs, even if they are in-game. When there's a new bug on the servers, every GM is informed of that so we can know how to deal with it and how to deal with the situations around it. However, having a lot of knowledge about them doesn't prove anything relevant if you try to apply to the role by saying that. In fact, the Support Team would suit better in that case. To finish this, i'd like to quote the sentence that Greybeard made: The more experience, the better decisions. Again, as i mentioned before, this is completely wrong. The experience as a PLAYER doesn't give you the experience you need as GM, and being "old" doesn't mean your decisions will be the most accurates within the team. The experience that you need as GM is the one you gain while being a staff member already. You get these under training, trial period and then in your 1st few months as GM. After getting all the neccesary info, you will know how to deal with appeals, bans, users, reports, evidences, complicated situations you might come across in-game or through the web, etc. After working with them for months/years, you will get more and more experience by the time. Again, i'm not trying to sound rude nor trying to argue with you because i'm a staff and i feel "attacked", no, not at all. I'm just providing my opinion as another member of the community by using my knowledge and experience as staff member for 3.5 years and a player for 7.5 years. If you would still like to discuss things with me and exchange opinions feel free to do so! I will try to be as clear as i can.
  3. The permanent bans have been here since 2014 until 2022 (permabans due to history), and C-D, Kirkenes and the whole map was still the same. I've been playing TruckersMP since May 2016, and such roads have been always the same. Even when we removed the permanent bans, i never noticed a positive nor negative change. Sim 1 on its peak time is a chaos and no matter how many moderators are there, the chaos will never stop. It will just dissapear for a few hours cause most of the players are sleeping. Keep in mind that we still issue permanent bans under the rule 2.9, only when it's needed. So, technically you can still get a permanent ban for breaking the rules several times.
  4. You can't block players to do X thing for having a low level since everyone uses profiles with experience and money, and therefore it will be useless. There's no possible way to block X road for a certain group of people, it's impossible and isn't something Developer can do nor will spend time on. Same thing for the car. This could be different, though. Maybe only patreons could get access to the cars on Simulation 1, 2 and ProMods, imo. That would something i will not be against of, but again, i doubt Developers will do something like that. Every game has trolls, unfortunately, and even if we ban them all permanently, they will come back. If you wanna avoid trolls, just avoid driving in high populated areas and the problem will be mostly solved.
  5. There's no much info about the rating and how it works since this is handled internally, and therefore i'm not allowed to talk much about how it works. You can always make a feedback ticket under the GMM category and they will probably answer all your questions related to this system. Anyway, if your reports are in the areas i mentioned before such as Calais, Duisburg or Kirkenes, they will be accepted (if they are valid) but will not increase your report score nor decrease it. It stays just as it is. If it gets declined, it may decrease too (not always). I can't get into more details about your reports even though i'd like to help you to understand, however, the ISP doesn't let me do that.
  6. This is probably because we receive many reports from the same place and many people was basically doing "moderation stuff" as players instead of driving. I can't get into details as i may break the ISP, let's say that this prevets report spams. You perfectly know that you are driving in an area that is being monitored always all the time, but still many players break the rules. If you drive there, you will need to know that your experience will not be "simulation", but "arcade" instead. This leads to many reports, in some occasions from people who drives there just to report and then you guys will have to wait even more days to get your reports reviewed just cause other people is abusing. I still get your point though, and i agree that we need to work on the web reporting system to make some improvements. I hope we can do something to suit both parts perfectly (players and GMs part).
  7. While i agree that the system needs and improvement, i can tell you that if you hit a report score of ZERO, is because many of your reports have been declined due to them not being against the rules or something similar. You have 10 opportunities to make reports, and can be 20 if your reports get accepted with a positive rating. However, if 10 or 20 reports of yours get declined, is clearly because you are reporting things that are not bannable at all. Y'all need to keep in mind that reporting in high populated places such as Calais - Duisburg and Kirkenes will not increase your report score, but can decrease it if they get declined. Just like i said in my comment above, there's many people who think they are right and they have the truth when they don't even know how to judge the situations, as they have never been part of the Game Moderation Team and do not have the experience/training required. If someday they join the team, they will understand better why their reports were declined. It's not all about "oh they blocked one lane of 3 on a highway, THAT'S A BAN!!!" because it clearly doesn't work like that.
  8. I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but your comment here is completely wrong. First of all, NO ONE who recently joins the team has experience with the role itself, as they have never been part of the Game Moderation Team in the past. Because of that, we have a selected group of Game Moderator Trainers who are in charge of training every single new person according to the public and internal set of rules. Every GM has like 2 weeks of training and then up to 2 months as RM before being a GM. People who are not in the team doesn't know how to deal with reports, appeals, live moderation and etc because they have not been trained for that, and they might always think they are right when they are not and do not know how the team works. It's easy to say "I will know how to moderate, i've seen many admins streaming on twitch, that's easy" and i can assure you that it's not like that AT ALL. Watching a stream doesn't give you knowledge about how to judge and deal with specific situations, you just watch the GM dealing with it. I know you've not mentioned this, but i wanted to make a special mention to that as i've see that kind of comments several times here. Also, being an administrator in another community, which is indeed a plus to give you an idea on how to moderate, i can also asure you that TMP is a completely different thing. Being admin in more communities will not give you the experience to be a perfect moderator here at all. Now, quoting your sentence "they block all roads, overtake in crowded traffic, all they do is ONLY kick." As i said before, if they receive a kick is because a ban isn't needed and might be harsh. Of course, we all are humans and sometimes we can have a mistake, however, if you've seen kicks several times, is because that is not bannable. "We take our time and send a report, even though we are right, they do not ban the other party." If your report gets declined, then you are not right at all. We all have gone through training sessions and trial periods, we clearly know how to deal with every situations, and in this case you do not have any kind of experience within the team to say "we are right and they are not" since you don't know how we have to judge every situation. As i also said before, we can also make mistakes as we are humans. However, if you still send a feedback ticket and the managers/leaders still say that the report was correctly handled, then again, we aren't the ones who are "wrong".
  9. Naaa jajaja los que laburamos nos levantamos temprano, es normal xD
  10. Como se nota lo bien que se informan que ni siquiera se dieron cuenta que Brandon jamas fue admin. Suerte con sus "pruebas".
  11. Me alegra poder ayudado a agregar contexto!
No habría objetividad, basicamente. Espero haber ayudado con esto.

  16. Hello @SpectStrike, Even if you contact GMMs through the feedback system as @Myriαnnα said above, your situation isn't gonna change. Once you have a report score of 0 (Zero), you instantly lose your reporting rights permanently. There's nothing GMMs can do to increase your report score again because that's an automatic system. Reports in high populated areas such as Calais, Duisburg, C-D road and Kirkenes will not increase your report score even if the report gets accepted. Kind regards, El Reja Retired Game Mod Leader.

  20. Gullbrann posted above your comment but you didn't see it, that's why they posted "1", instead. ? Let's go back to 0 again lads
  21. woah, where are y'all going? lets go back to 0
Saludos, El Reja TruckersMP Game Moderator Leader y Community Moderator
