  4. Thanks for all the congratulations! If you haven't joined the TMP Discord, you totally should.

You can link your profile with your Discord account using the Account Settings page on the TMP website. See you there!

  5. Suggestion Name: Add a delay before an account can be deleted if the user has been in-game recently Suggestion Description: As the name suggests, adding a grace period before an account can be deleted if the user has logged into the game servers within a specified time frame, for example, two weeks. Any example images: N/A Why should it be added?: Currently there is a 14 day grace period between deleting and re-registering an account, however, there is no delay as to which an account can be deleted, meaning that if a user breaks some rules, they can go ahead and immediately delete their account before they get banned. Implementing some form of delay by checking whether a person has logged into the game servers before an account can be deleted would help reduce ban evaders, as action can be taken against their account before they can delete it. Alternatively, implementing some form of a "status" to account deletion requests such as pending where by a number of days has to pass before the account is deleted permanently.

    Bug Website

Yes, this is normal now. They recently changed it so that bans are hidden from the public including the API. See this thread for more information about recent changes to the website.
  7. For PMs, the line corresponding to the message should be highlighted for better visibility. Similarly, if someone mentions your player ID, or your username, the text that mentions these should be highlighted so that you are made aware that someone is talking about you. For example, someone may have a question about the truck you're driving, and in busy areas it's very easy to miss messages that are directed towards you. Image example: All in all, this is a good suggestion, but I personally think it goes hand in hand with "redeveloping" the entire chat system which was suggested a while back. (see this thread) I'll add other things I'd like to see. Language channels Similar to what we have on the TruckersMP Discord, I'd like to see language channels that a user can "subscribe" to. For example, if I'm subscribed to the French language channel, I can only write French. This would also help with filtering out server announcements from my chat that I don't understand. Disabling repeated messages Many users seem to think it's okay to repeatedly spam their VTC advertisements in busy areas, having a feature where by sending the same or similar message in a short time frame times you out from the chat would improve the experience for many users, similar to how Twitch chat operates. Chat configuration options and readability As a person who owns an ultrawide monitor with a fairly high resolution, I find it difficult to read the chat due to the small font size. Giving users the ability to customise the chat interface with different font options (please no Comic Sans!) and font sizes would really help in improving accessibility. I'm aware this is possible through mods, but having a native option would be so much better. Adding a timestamp option would also be very nice. "Modular" chat interface Being able to move, resize, hide the chat similar to the player tab list. Server announcements and in-game warnings Highlighting server announcements similar to the suggestion above would make them more prominent. I've found in many instances of night time driving where I could not read the message without looking up close due to the nature of the dark red font against night environments. Fixing some of the old chat bugs If you have something in your clipboard and type the letter V, it sometimes pastes what you have in your clipboard into the chat. Pausing the game with the chat open leaves you no option but to ALT+F4 and restart your game as there's no way to close it.
  8. Game: Euro Truck Simulator 2 Mod Version: 0.2.2.4.0 Controllers Used: N/A Description of Issue: Player spawned in front of me but instead of me driving through, I hit the person and took damage. How to reproduce: Not sure. Screenshots / Videos:

Thank you Moh, of course I'll stick around everywhere and check in from time to time. :3

  10. One option I can think of is to follow the progress titles used in-game when you level up for reputation points. Example of first 10 used: Newbie Enthusiast Skilled Worker Professional Master Instructor Elite King of the Road Legend Divine Champion
  11. Go to the following location and copy the sh_skoda_car.mp file into your ETS/ATS mods folder, renaming the file extension from .mp to .scs. C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP\data\shared\mods
  12. It's an interesting suggestion, but one that I ultimately disagree with. Detecting whether someone is intentionally saving their game versus someone who is auto saving seems impossible (unless you know of a way then please do tell!). On top of that, many other factors can cause someone lag that are not just related to auto save, including but not limited to, network lag, GPU lag (loading textures, FPS, etc), system lag (disk speed) and so on. Being able to tell the difference between these factors is often difficult. However, with the example you gave of someone saying they are going to be saving their game whilst driving causing them to lag, should be punished as they are intending to cause harm to other players. One could argue it falls foul of rule 2.5 - Attempting to use desync in order to cause damage to another users vehicle is forbidden..
  13. Adding onto this suggestion, having a drop down menu where you can select different chat channels pertaining to each language, so English speakers can speak in English, Turkish speakers can speak in Turkish and so on.
  14. Congrats on the promotion ;)

  15. Really happy to see TMP moving forward and improving the experience for the players. I've always thought that this mod hasn't changed much over the years in terms of player experience, besides from supporting base game DLCs, Scout 1.0, the administration changes (web reporting system etc.), media team and so on. That's not to say those changes were bad, it just felt like things were progressing a little slower than expected. Looking forward to seeing what ideas are implemented and what ideas the community wants to see.
  16. To add to what the others have said: you can edit report messages after they've been submitted, where you can inform whoever looks at the report that you have reported the incorrect person. You can also add additional messages to the report, so you could have added a second message saying something like "I entered the wrong user ID by accident, I wished to report XYZ".

Bonus: You can see a Scout car pulling a trailer haha #justTMPthings

  19. I think that's a very one dimensional viewpoint. There's nothing wrong with having the car in a game that's about trucks. it all boils down to how players drive, and judging by the number of instances where accidents are caused by people driving recklessly with the Scout car, I don't see the harm in implementing such a limit. The argument of "having a car in a game called Euro Truck Simulator" doesn't make sense either. Are you saying TMP should remove the car completely instead of implementing a speed limiter? Why should the actions of a small part of the player base who are driving recklessly, punish players who abide the rules when driving the car by removing the Scout car completely? Surely it would be better to add something like a limiter that would help reduce the number of accidents?
  20. I don't see the issue with this, the limit seems reasonable. It'll help players control the Scout car better as that thing rolls at high speed even with the tiniest of movements. Though I don't think it should apply to free roam servers, as the rules are more relaxed and it gives people the option to drive at any speed they desire without hindering others.
