Frankly a disapointment to see TMP going backwards instead of forwards:

Abolition of report reason "ban evading" - As a TMP player since 2017 I see this as a mistake, that will take TMP back in the overall progress it has made so far. Throughout the years I play, there has been so many times, TMP staff simply did not recognize ban evaders and we, the players had take charge of the situation and use report system in order to get them out of the game. I worry, that there were made no internal changes, that you just changed the rules to have less work with reports which is a disgrace to the community, who trust you, that you are doing your best work possible.

§2.9 "In accordance with our Terms of Service staff are allowed to re-use evidence sent in our reports."
Well this might be helpful to someone, but I find it very harmful since there will always be a small percentage of bans issued incorrectly and small portion of them doesnt even get corrected in the feedback system either, this was not just my case months ago... this further undermines the trust to report system and now they can "according to rules" use yours evidence (wrongly) agains you (even if that evident doest meet basic evidence stardards like perpetrator nickname..., as in my case) which just leads into unpleasant experience, when nobody is willing to hear your objections, even worse they can now do it legally according to the rules. Dont even try to argue, that this unfair treatment happened to just to me, and I am the only one who ever experienced it.

I really look forward to seeing great updates like VTC system, Event page, CD area improvements (added roadsigns)...

    Kind regards

    Hello @B&Č Transport atjov001

After reading your comment I feel the need to address my view on some of the things you have said. I understand how with certain aspects of these rules changes you disagree with them, however, with some additional context I'm sure it can be explained/ cleared up.

    The part where you said,
"Abolition of report reason "ban evading" - As a TMP player since 2017 I see this as a mistake" - Why do you think this? Because Ban Evading reports are no longer accepted they're now going to get away with ban evading? No, not really. As stated in the latest blog post/ forum post from Marco, "Out of 6496 Ban Evading reports we processed, barely 30% of them was classed as a valid web report".  That's only 1949 reports out of the 6496 being placed that were even valid/ which led to a ban. Now, as said it takes time to process something such as this. Imagine the hours that could've been better spent on more valid reports instead of wasting time on reports that either don't contain correct evidence types to warrant a ban evading check or those that don't result in a ban. Those that really do pose an issue with ban evading are caught in due time, as always, they repeat the same mistakes and end up revealing themselves.

    Additionally, you said,
"the players had take charge of the situation and use report system in order to get them out of the game." - Well, as we can see here, it isn't really working. The numbers show this, only 30% of all reports for ban evading have resulted in action taken. As said above, the amount of time for the results out-put... it's not worth the time it seems. I am not singling out any user here, but, I as well as other Moderators are regularly asked "When will my report be dealt with admin". Well, less "useless" reports such as these ban evading ones no longer being a problem, will therefore free up more time to handle an additional 4547 in that same time frame. Would that not be preferred? Catching ban evaders will always be a problem, all online games face this issue, it's the same here for TruckersMP. The fact that a large portion of these reports are if anything, slowing down the process of catching ban evaders by said reports not being valid, surely it is making the situation worse no? As Marco has said "all BE related processes will be handled internally with the appropriate tools available for the Game Moderation Management." These are the same Game Moderation Managers that have pushed and brought attention to the issue of ban evaders and they have no chosen that the current methods are no longer fit to be able to catch ban evaders in a productive manner. A lot of time has been wasted with useless reports when it could've been spent much more productively on different areas. Now, I am not saying hunting down ban evaders is ending, it really isn't and we will continue to pursue ban evaders. They are banned for a reason, just because they create another account, it doesn't mean they can then continue as they please.

    You also commented,
"I worry, that there were made no internal changes, that you just changed the rules to have less work with reports which is a disgrace to the community" - They are some rather strong words. I cannot share what happens within the team for obvious reasons but I can say for sure we are not giving up on catching ban evaders. We as moderators dislike those that chose not to follow the rules just as much as you do. We are in now way just changing rules to reduce workload. They have been changed to allow us to more effectively catch those that break rules by removing an aspect that is no longer effective at catching those ban evading.

    You also commented,
"§2.9 "In accordance with our Terms of Service staff are allowed to re-use evidence sent in our reports."
"Well this might be helpful to someone, but I find it very harmful since there will always be a small percentage of bans issued incorrectly and small portion of them doesn't even get corrected in the feedback system either"

    - There are many steps which I cannot list that have to be taken to even consider banning a user. The fact that a moderator views a report and has to serious question whether or not their driving deserves a ban should say enough. A issue I have also noticed in this statement is that, you are fine with us accepting reports of other users breaking rules, but, if it then allows us to ban you with your own evidence because you did something just as bad/ worse than the user you are reporting, it is no longer ok or acceptable and that is when it becomes an issue of a  "small percentage of bans issued incorrectly". I can tell you now, if a reporter is being banned for their own evidence it is highly likely the ban is more than valid. Now, if that ban is then taken tot he Game Moderation Managers and they too agree with the ban put in place due to them being banned with their own evidence... does that not say that they as the reporter are in fact in the wrong? That is a lot of hands for this ban to pass through to get to that stage. We are not out to get users and I hope you don't think we are. We are simply enforcing rules as fairly as we can. Sometimes mistakes are made when bans are issued, but as I have stated above for them to banned with their own evidence.... it takes a lot.

In addition to the above comment,
"his was not just my case months ago... this further undermines the trust to report system and now they can "according to rules" use yours evidence (wrongly) agains you (even if that evident doest meet basic evidence stardards like perpetrator nickname..., as in my case)" - So, I take it you were banned with your own evidence? Now, your argument is that because we couldn't see your nickname, the ban is therefore not valid? Well no. Why? Because the rules clearly state that any evidence you submit, you admit that you are the recording user and therefore any actions in the video you are willing to accept in an "as is" basis. Just by you creating the report with that clip you are outright saying, "Yes, this is me, I am driving this truck and this is my recording of my actions". So, what is being said here is that, "As long as I don't get banned and the user I have report does it is ok, even though I may have done wrong." It is more than fair, that if you broke the rules too you should be banned.

The specific rules/ ToS that cover the above are as follows,

    §1.4 - Reporting users

    - You can not report players with evidence that has not been recorded in-game by yourself.

3.1.4 Reports and evidence provided in reports

    - When you submit a report on the website, you agree to give TruckersMP and its staff a limited license to use provided evidence and re-upload it for safekeeping and use as evidence related to punishments issued.

i'm looking forward to downloading the sheet when its' released and out of curiosity what's ITN's site url?

ITN's website is still under development as of right now. It will be released as soon as possible.
We're just getting rid of the bugs we have found. It shouldn't take too long.

The sheet will also be released on completion, we're just finishing the code for the sheets as it works out timings etc. Just to make it easier for the planners.

  3. Over the next few day's I'll be adding more detail into the two different types of events.
    ● Charity/ Fundraising

    ● Non-charitable events. (E.G. Large VTC events, Anniversary Convoys, Festive Convoy's)

I'd also like to introduce you to a project called CEN. Community Events Network.
CEN is under the wing of ITN, International Truckers Network.
I'll tell you what we do, how it benefits events and how it could benefit you as event organisers.

  4. EWkrll8.png

When planning community events, it's essential to have a good solid plan of what you want to do.
Your initial ideas will be the base of the event. For example,

VTC Anniversary events are VTC orientated, the event is about your VTC.
    ●  Charity based events, well, it's all about the charity and the cause. Do you have a story to tell?

    How to begin:
If it's your first time planning an event, it will come to you in one of two ways.
    1.
     You'll find it easy.

    2. You'll really struggle to get the ideas on paper
If you find it easy, go all out, make it the best event you can. However, don't get carried away. You should always, always, plan in segments.

Planning the event in segments means you can step back, look at what you've planned, asses it, improve or completely re-plan it. It's easy to

get carried away. You come up with all these amazing ideas, but, is it practical? Can you actually do it?
If you have never been in a convoy, or event, i strongly suggest you attend one of the many community, or VTC events.
It will give you a very rough, but good idea how most run events. You can then base yours off what you see, but,
    please, please, please,
Never copy someone else's hard work.
Don't copy their event, make it your event. However, asking for help/tips from that person/ VTC....

    That's the right way.

    Google Sheets:
Google sheets are a event planners best friend. They're relatively easy to work with, even with minimal experience.

These sheets will be where you plan your event. Create a "MasterPlan", this is where you can put the overall, basic view of the event.
This is a template made by a collection of successful event founders.
    pWRETDO.png
(This sheet will be available for "download" in the ITN's, Community Event Network)
A clean, functional sheet is what you need. Keep the colours to the "pastel" side. You don't want bright colours all over your sheet.
Making a sheet clear and easy to understand will benefit, not only you, but Convoy Control (CC) and Event Volunteers.
Depending on the size of the event, will dictate if you need Convoy Control or not. If you're expecting high numbers, it's best to use CC.

    Truckfest's and Convoys:
Truckfests..... :Oof:, some really enjoy them, some... well, some really don't. However, truckfests allow amazing organisation opportunities.

The best place to have the Truckfest is at the start of the event.
Having multiple VTC's/ Clans in one area all booked into individual slots... well, that's just spot on. By having this you can call individual

VTC's/ Clans or slot numbers to leave one by one. This means you can have a nice, clean steady flow of organised trucks.

If you plan to do a truckfest, make sure you give the community plenty of time to book slots. Look to make booking available for the
truckferst ~6 months before. This will give you and those wanting to attend your event plenty of time to book.

Another good use of google applications... google forms. You can use this to make the booking form. For example,
    nI7yIng.png

(Screenshot taken from my event, "Clara's Dream's" booking form)

    Convoys/ Routes
Decide how long you want the event to be. Depending on how long the event is, will depend on how many routes you can do.
    Route Formula:

    ● < or 6 Hours ~ 2-3 Routes
    ● < or 24 Hours ~ 6-10 Routes
    ● > 24 Hours - In a 24 Hour time period you can do 10 convoys.
(Add 1 route every two hours over 24 hours)

An average weekly VTC convoy is about 885km (550Miles)
This can take up to 1 hour for 885km's.

For an event, you want the route to last two hours. So double it.
    1 Event Route = 885 x2 = 1770km's
885km ~ 1 Hour. So if one route takes 1 Hour and you doubled the length, it will take you two hours.
In addition to the two hours, you should add 20 minuets to the route. This is backup/ Panic/ Late time.

    Games, Challenges, Races!

For this, I suggest you look at the section below.
To get games, challenges and race temporary rules approved, you will need the event server.

This is to keep your event, and other non-attending community members getting into any hassle.

Games can massively increase the popularity in your event. Coming up with games allow people to try something they

probably wouldn't do on a normal server. It gives them a chance to show of their parking skills or racing talent.
If you plan to add these, i would suggest cutting out 1-2 routes and replace them with the games.
Trust me, i learnt the hard way. I did CD18's games during the break.... that was a bad idea. The event staff and myself got no time to relax.

(For temporary rules, please go to the end of the post)

Do I need the Event Server?
The event server requirements will dictate whether you need it or not.
If you expect a large turn out, check the Event Server Requirements.
(Can be found at the end)

    Event Advertisement:
Once you've got a solid sturdy plan, It's time to advertise. Don't spam it, just advertise.
Make a TMP Forum post. This is a very good place to advertise as many visit the forums every single day.
You can do this by creating artwork/banners, videos/ Event Trailers.
Radio Adverts, this community has a wide selection of radio stations. Take your pick to see what they can offer you.

    Thank you for your time,
Hopefully this will inspire, and help many of you when it comes to planning events.
If you have any questions, please feel free to comment below. I'll try my best to get back to you asap.

  5. Personally, i believe the Survey was a good idea. It allows fast a and easy way for them to collect data they require. It is better than the long winded feedback system for this kind of data collection.

(I made a few points about contacting Upper Staff via the feedback system, hopefully this will be seen and taken note of)

  6. I won't go into my full detailed argument on this, as
    1. I really can't be bothered for this anymore
    2. I got what i wanted from the person directly.

This whole situation is just becoming a entire fustercluck. However much i would like to see this resolved properly and how it was originally, it won't happen.
The "evidence" has been looked over and been "approved" by the upper staff. On situations like this we as the community have very little to no say.
However much i disagree with the outcome, what can we do? Really, what can we do, nothing.
His name has been cleared of the ban, but his reputation will stick with him for a long time. I suggest we all move on and forget about it, regardless of personal grudges.

Maybe in the future, and just maybe, this will come back to light and rethought, but until that time, lets move on and carry on with our community workings, whatever they may be.

    Thank You,
    - Gamer5 | VTC Owner | Community Event Planner/ Organiser

Everything i have just said should not have any direct relation to what i do as a event founder. I am expecting the same treatment to when it comes to booking an event server next year for Clara's Dream 2019.
I have not come here to cause trouble, but to simply state my opinion.
