Hey, I've been wondering about the origins of Duisburg-Calais for several years. Can anyone tell me why exactly this route is so popular and when it started? Was there another/similar route with comparatively high traffic volumes before, or is Duisburg-Calais unique so far? And, another question for anyone who can't answer the above question: When did you first discover Duisburg-Calais and how often do you travel there actually? Thanks and regards Maxim06

Hey, Gravat4! If you already own the Krone Trailer Pack DLC the upcoming Krone Farm Machinery, DLC may not make much of a difference. This is because both DLC's primarily offer Krone brand trailers and equipment. However, the new DLC is particularly noteworthy for its agricultural machinery. Kind regards, 'Yağızhan. Event Team Recruitment From the 17th of August until the 31st of August, we will be looking for talented individuals to join our Event Team. About the role: The Event Team assists the smooth running of official events for the community to enjoy. Loading saves and directing players along the route is a crucial task, which sometimes involves the privilege of driving special vehicles. Core Requirements: The following requirements must be met for us to proceed with your application. For more information you may check our Information for applicants knowledge base article or contact Event Team Management through the feedback system. Must be at least 16 years old; Must be registered on the TruckersMP website for at least 1 year; Must be familiar with TruckersMP and its rules; Must be sufficiently proficient in written English; Must be able to accept constructive criticism; Must be eager to learn and want to progress your knowledge; Must be organised and adaptive; Must be resilient, active and flexible; Must be able to work within in a team as well as on your own; Must have a forum and Discord account for internal communication; Must have no forum/Discord bans or punishments within the last 12 months; Must have no game bans in the last 12 months; Must have no more than 3 game bans in the last 24 months; Must have good behaviour across our communication channels; Must have good communication skills. Specific Qualifications: A working microphone and the ability to speak fluent English (to be able to communicate with the team). Have both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Having all ETS2 map DLC’s is essential. Having all ATS map DLC’s is an advantage, but not a necessity. Be available on weekends (in particular afternoons/evenings (UTC). This position does not require any specific language skills, however understandable English is still a requirement as per the Core Requirements. How do I submit a good application? For the first month of playing TruckersMP i only played in the UK. I ended up travelling to calais for the first time and oh my goodness… i couldn't comprehend wtf was going on. The first thing i hear is constant ear rape and arguments from the cb radio. My screen was blinded by hundreds of player tags. The game was lagging so hard i felt like my PC was going to explode. Non stop crashes happening left right and centre. Completely different atmosphere from the UK lmao.
