Accidents have nothing to do with the speed limit. The problem here and everywhere else is the players who don't want to follow the rules.2 points

I avoid them I mostly enjoy the DLC's and drive as far from C-D as possible. It's not like everyday traffic, and I absolutely hate it when I start in Brussels and end up in some repair shop in Duisburg because I got hit 20 times and have lots of damage.1 point

All roads bear a certain challenge and fascination. I drive where the job takes me, and I enjoy every trip as much as possible.1 point

C-D obviously, but I do prefer Germany and Scandinavia for some good drives. Austria also very beautiful.1 point

Narrow and challenging roads, and of course, the iconic Calais-Duisburg route.1 point

Doesn't really matter for me where from or where to, I just want it to be a LONG drive through a lot of countries! Love those 3000-4000km drives on a weeknight!1 point

Yeah I've also noticed the brightness of my mirrors has been strange lately, it can be especially annoying in places like the inside of a ferry where it gets VERY bright in the mirrors so you can barely see at all1 point

The problem isn't drivers doing 110. It's the drivers who ignore road rules. Queue of traffic? They overtake off the road to queue cut. Small gap btwn both stopped lanes? You bet a Skoda will be lane splitting. Accidents also happen because a driver in front gets lag with very little warning and the vehicle behind has the worst brakes (with rain enabled probably) to stop in time. I even had to swerve towards the shoulder to avoid a hard collision with the truck in front. The difference is, that's a city. CD Road lies in the countryside. Even if the speed limit was set to what the road's speed limit is, it won't reduce traffic or make anything flow normally in the typical problems spots. In my Gas Station suggestion about applying this tech, i was told it would be abrupt to go from 110 to a very slow speed and the vehicle would just pass through without having to drive the set speed. I even saw a video of someone using a Skoda and doing 150 through the gas station ignoring the speedbumps. Smoother? Maybe. Safer? That's a big nope. Like i said in 1, it's because of kids and those who don't care about rules who just ignore them. Illegal overtaking. Reckless merging that causes a collision with your vehicle. A troll blocking because they think it's funny. It also doesn't help that TMP Dev's & Add-on Team doesn't want to bother revamping problem spots. They want to see what SCS does with the revamps before anything moves forward. And, you've got the problem spots of the train crossing and the gas station towards Calais causing traffic on a 1 lane road. You can get improved gameplay experience by using the whole map. Even if you don't buy the DLC's. "Truck Sim" with cars and alternating vehicles. Some drivers respect that. Others are the one's who get banned (if reported on the web system). Once the map is improved, the driver's have to be improved. That is the only way see the revamp that could kill off CD Road for good.1 point
