Start your engines and buckle up truckers!! With Summer now upon us, it is the perfect time to launch a new type of in-game event here at TruckersMP - Cargo Delivery Events. We frequently receive requests from the community for us to add more varied content to our servers for players to enjoy, so our Add-On Team have been hard at work and we are delighted to bring you the latest fruits of their labour - the Fruity Freight Fiesta event. From June 5th until July 2nd, we have five new TruckersMP exclusive special cargoes available, ready for you to deliver across Europe and North America in both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. For taking part in the Fruity Freight Fiesta event, players can earn some juicy rewards - read on for all of the details; The Cargoes Boxes of Grapes :grapes: Giant Mangoes :mango: Boxes of Oranges :tangerine: Giant Pineapple :pineapple: Giant Watermelons :watermelon: Personal Reward As a reward for participating in the Fruity Freight Fiesta event, all participants can earn a special achievement for their profile - to get this reward simply complete at least five deliveries of any of the special cargoes listed above in either game. Community Reward In addition to the personal reward, we want to make sure that player's efforts during the Fruity Freight Fiesta event prove to be fruitful, so we have set an additional Community Goal of 20,000 deliveries across both games to be completed during the duration of the event, be sure to make as many deliveries as you can! Once the goal is reached the community will be rewarded with the release of a special set of themed cabin accessories to celebrate the event. We hope you are as excited about this new event as we are, hopefully it will be the first of many Cargo Delivery Events to come here on TruckersMP! Our Official June ETS Convoy of 2023 has been scheduled and you're all invited! This month, we are heading over to Europe where we will explore what France has to offer! We will drive through some spectacular roads with amazing views! The event takes place on the 18th of June 2023 at 17:00 UTC Information The convoy duration is estimated to be around 90 minutes, possibly a bit more if you're near the rear! No breaks are scheduled, but you are welcome to pull over in a safe place if you require to do so! The temporary rules for this event can be found here. I bet it does nothing, since like you said, the game is still CPU single thread bound only, with its old proprietary Prism3D engine, developed almost 20 years ago, despite being updated to support DX11. Your GPU does not matter that much, it's your CPU single core performance that will always be the limit. SCS is working on updating the engine to support DX12 and/or Vulkan, though nobody knows when it will come, so untill then, multi-threading is really non-existent.

I've read so many times "Rec ban" that I stopped caring about it a very long time ago. Why should I worry about someone saying that, if I know that I did nothing wrong? Funniest of all, many of those who said "rec ban" to me were actually reported (by me) and banned. Without any notification from my side And like Granite just mentioned, there are way worse things in the chat that should be taken care of first, IMO.

@[OCSC Event] Antho, Players who write "rec rep ban" or the like are indirectly impersonating TruckersMP team members, as bans can only be conducted by them. Impersonation is a violation of §1.6 of the game rules, which states: Their main intention is likely to intimidate other players while distracting from their own mistakes. I always found this kind of behavior annoying and unnecessary.

There is not enough context, we don't see directions that both of you were coming from - if it was same direction or not and it don't really matter. It's very likely, this player did see you as overtaking by taking advantage of the other lane and skipping queue that others were patiently waiting in. Other players in front of you in the right lane obviously had the same idea, making situation even worse by blocking both lanes when they try bullying their way back to the left lane, and this causes traffic jams like this in the first place. The right thing to do is stay in the lane you know you need to be in, if there is slow moving or stopped trafic in front of you, and be patient, even if the other lanes going in different direction are free. You are not going to impress anyone by being smart and you get treated accordingly when attempting to merge back in front of someone who has been waiting. I don't say this is what you have done, because there isn't enough context, but it's most likely what really happened here, and it's really common practice among this "fine" community. If I am right, then think about it like this: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Since you mentioned "we", so the answer is yes. A community reward will be given in future.

Is there some kind of Live Tracker for the Community Goal? Would love to see something like that!

If you ask me the veteran levels shouldn't be linked to how many years you've been registered but the number of kilometres driven. But obviously this is not something recorded/available in TMP unfortunately.

Many people drive with the mouse, and you cannot report via tab due to you need to full stop your truck cuz it will stop in the middle of the road if you want to report someone due to the right click which usually it is brake. /report [ID] [REASON] Reasons can be in a short form for fast report like Reckless Driving - /report 1234 RD Collisions - /report 1234 C Insulting - /report 1234 I Hacking - /report 1234 H etc.

What achievements are there even to earn on TMP?

I was going to say same thing as you said about recording button. However my most used key is Scroll lock - for autosaves every 60 sec xD when I go to C-D. Personally I feel that strobe lights should only be placed on the front of the truck and the rear of a (heavy goods) trailer. Having them placed anywhere else makes it look silly and tacky.

Thought I’d mention before people say. I don’t think trolling in discord will increase. Look back to ingame bans since 2.8 was changed has anyone noticed much different except busier more enjoyable servers. Hopefully it’ll be the same for discord.
