  6. That is absolutely fine I fear this discussion has derailed a bit. I tried to provide the background information that you were seemingly looking for, albeit it is progressively shifting to an off-topic discussion. Some raised a hypothesis earlier in response to the project update, which I then tested based on actual data and statistical models that I had readily available. Generally, though, if you make a claim, the burden of proof is on your end; it is not up to me (or anyone else for that matter) to disprove it. The graph that is being dissected right now was made 1.5 years ago and merely provided a visual representation of the daily influx of reports per day in the aforementioned period, and the inversion you highlighted has nothing to do with this project update nor was it investigated to look for an explanation as it was (and still is) irrelevant for the topics at hand.

  8. Cant really tell you about the process. As i dont know what questions you will be asked and what happens during training is that you get trained to be a moderator. Is it difficult? It can be. And we do quite a lot of reports, which is a lot of the work we do. Cant really tell you what a typical day looks like as there isent really one. Its not like when you show up to work in the morning and you do the same job every day. Some days you might not do anything as you have other real life things to do. And other days you do a lot of moderator work. There is no typical day. Being a moderator is not the glamorous thing some people think it is. Sure you get access to the police car but you dont really drive around in that a lot. And you really should not want to become a moderator because of the police car. And does it make it all more fun? Sometimes but i wouldent say it elevates Truckers MP to be super funny and much better than if you are just a normal player, as it is a lot of work and when driving in game you are always a moderator. And so yes you can just go driving like anyone else, but if something happens near you, you have to act on it. And so its never just a drive, there is always stuff to do.

  14. I think we can all agree that roads are pretty important to drivers, no matter where you're going (unless it's back to the future). In our upcoming West Balkans DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, we've paid particular attention to the road networks in the 8 countries included in this expansion. Players can look forward to an array of various road networks including new modern highways, some of which have recently opened, or are planned to be in use in the near future. These highways are generally the fastest route to your destination, and in some places offer some unique views for drivers. One such example can be found on the coast of Crotia, where the highway (and surrounding junctions) boldly passes right through the middle of a mountainous area. Outside of Highways, there is also the network of smaller roads that serve smaller communities, towns and villages all across the West Balkans. These range from roads at sea level all the way up to the mountains; and are a little bit more rugged than the new highways. We've also included a few roads that lead right through the some of the larger cities, as opposed to driving around the centre where larger trucks are usually prohibited. Be careful though, some of the roads around the city may not be suited for larger vehicles. Players can also look forward to detailed road signage, if you prefer to navigate the old school way, across all countries! There will also be plenty of bridges, roundabouts, tunnels and level crossings which we will showcase once they are a little bit more polished. Until then, we hope these work in progress shots get you excited to get trucking in new territories. If you like what you see, be sure to add the West Balkans DLC to your Steam Wishlist; Until next time, happy trucking! View the full article

  22. There were also baseless and hasty assumptions about what the surveys would bring. And here we are. Only time will tell, of course, but experience is a factor. And in my experience, the majority of the players in TMP are the same or even less interested in simulation now than it used to be before RtS . The results in the survey should be proof of this.

  23. Thanks for your answers. Well if you can't provide explanations (or are not interested to look for them), I'm sure you will understand if I stick with my views/ideas then.

  24. Probably not a common answer but the wide range of settings you can configure (both inside and outside of game) really allows me to fine-tune the game to have it exactly how I want it, I guess this also adds to the realism too.

  25. Well i like the casual side of the game because i think there are far too many things lacking in TMP to consider it Simulation. I hate the fact that rain is not synced, it's immersion killer for me because i might be driving in huge fog with rain and the guy behind me or in front of me drives in perfectly clear weather and is not affected one bit by this terrible weather. He doesn't have to be cautious, his brakes apply far better than mine etc... Furthermore there's no economy in the game. Money is worthless in the game and every profile has trillions of euros. That is the biggest reason why reckless driving is so common. When every account has cheated their way with money, the 100k you pay in the service for repairs seem like pocket change. Now imagine if money was synced with cloud profiles and you couldn't cheat, then everyone would think twice before making a reckless move and destroy their trucks. Every visit for repairs could cost you 10 jobs to pay off. These 2 reasons are why i don't like TMP as a simulation. Instead, i do consider Convoy mode far superior in that aspect. That being said, i do enjoy the arcade side of TMP. I only have one red line, not to troll (No overtaking from grass or inflict damage to other players on purpose etc). These are usually the things i report. But, other than that I like driving my truck to its limits and the absolute highest speed possible. And certainly, i'll have a good laugh if people recklessly overtake and create accidents and chaos

  26. Don't know what would happen today. But like i said, i believe the playerbase is vastly different to what it used to be. The release of Convoy mode combined with RTS kept away most casual players & only attracted simulation-oriented players. Overall, i'd argue that the driving culture is much better compared to what it was. I've been a frequent traveller of the C-D road for the past 6 years, and nowadays the C-D road doesn't even come close to what it used to be. Back in 2018, there used to be an incident every 100 meters. If you managed to leave with your truck & cargo unharmed, it would be a great achievement. Today, i still see people complaining about the C-D road and i can honestly tell you that they have no idea how it used to be. Now if you ask me, that was the most enjoyable part of the game. The chaos of the C-D road is a memory that i'll forever cherish and since RTS i've never enjoyed the game so much. I remember driving and laughing uncontrollably by all the mishaps that happened around me. I'm glad to see that the management has finally understood that the game needs to be fun as well. Please, @Jeronimο do consider making further changes towards that casual direction and i do hope that a more casual crowd could consider coming back and help grow the Simulation 2 server.

  32. Thank you very much for your kind thoughts. The photo editing program I use is Adobe Photoshop. Versions 20 and above are enough to get the job done. Although I can't spare much time these days, when I do, I come up with beautiful images like this. Thank you again.

  37. The emergency braking system engages in situations that a driver might not be aware of. It therefore increases safety in road traffic, which I fully support. TIme will tell if and how it will work in TruckersMP. It could be abused for distracted driving and had to be considered in a rule update.

  42. I had this problem with my old computer, which was low-equipped, and then I bought a new computer and the problem disappeared. However, although there is not much fps drop in areas with +30 people, as soon as I open TAB, -20 fps suddenly reflects. It happens 60% of the time, but not always. Whether I scale down or keep it high, the problem is a bit specific. It happens not always everywhere but in certain times and conditions. It could be an obsessive Tmp bug that I've encountered for years. I think the authorities are aware of it, but the solution may not be clear.
