  5. Greetings Truckers, Several years ago, we received feedback about the state of the city of Duisburg. Some veteran players may remember the permanent traffic congestion, which mainly formed around the entrance and exit of the service station. Upon review, we found that the default city, as designed by SCS Software, was simply not suitable for a multiplayer environment due to the high amount of traffic that constantly flows through the city. Back in early 2021, we attempted to solve this problem by making a few small map edits: we moved the entrance and exit of the service station to a road that nobody used at the time, created a bigger fuel station just outside of the city, and added traffic lights to regulate the frequently used road intersection at the eastern side of the city – which leads up to the road between Duisburg and Calais. While these map edits did have some positive effects, it did not resolve the traffic flow issues inside the city. In fact, it had moved the issues to a different hotspot rather than actually fixing them. In order to temporarily eliminate the issues, we considered it best to introduce a no-collision zone for the entire city to both improve the user experience and remove the strain it had on our Game Moderation team. Regardless of how much effort our Game Moderators would put into moderating that area, the user activity was simply too high for the design of the area. We very much realize that introducing a no-collision zone is and was far from an acceptable solution and we have read all your feedback throughout the years, such as on the forum as well as in the most recent community survey. At the time that the no-collision zone was introduced, it was clear that the no-collision zone would not be a permanent solution and that we had to look for something else to address the issue. Shortly after it was decided that our Add-On team would redesign the entirety of Duisburg city to make it suitable for multiplayer use. The process of the redesign was initially supposed to take a few months at most, but it is now clear that this was far too optimistic. Apart from the fact that our Add-On team is relatively small and that our talented members may leave at any time for various reasons, our Add-On team is also very much involved in higher priority projects, such as official events with unique map modifications. Moreover, this project was not simply about changing a part of the city, instead, it was about completely rebuilding the city and its surrounding road network from scratch, with various practical and technical challenges to overcome. All in all, the planning, execution, and testing all took much longer than expected and we sincerely apologize for how long this all eventually took and the lack of action and communication throughout the process. This has certainly been a learning experience for us, both for how we internally deal with complex projects as well as how we should communicate such changes with you. On the bright side, we can finally announce that we have created the new city of Duisburg and its surrounding areas. As promised, the no-collision zone will be removed. In order to ensure a better traffic flow, all traffic entering the city will come in from the northeast and exit to the south. Speaking of the south, we have created a convenient fuel, service, and parking area for you to enjoy. In addition to a whole new city, we have also created a whole new road network with many new highway interchanges and overpasses. We hope the new city will relieve traffic stress on the area and provide a much needed facelift to the area to bring it up to modern standards.   11. Приветствуем дальнобойщиков, Несколько лет назад мы получали обратную связь о состоянии города Дуйсбург.   14. Hallo lieber Trucker, Vor einigen Jahren erhielten wir Feedback über den Zustand der Stadt Duisburg. Einige Veteran-Spieler mögen sich an permanente Staus erinnern, welche sich hauptsächlich an der Ein- und Ausfahrt der Service Station abspielten. Nach unserer Einschätzung sind wir zu dem Entschluss gekommen, dass die SCS-Version von Duisburg, auf Grund des hohen Verkehrsaufkommen, einfach nicht für eine Multiplayer-Welt in diesem Ausmaß geeignet ist. Zu Beginn 2021 versuchten wir dieses Problem durch mehrere kleine Map-Edits zu beheben: Wir verschoben die Ein- und Ausfahrt der Service Station in Richtung einer zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht befahrenen Straße, erstellten eine größere Tankstelle außerhalb der Stadt und fügten Lichtzeichenanlagen an der Kreuzung östlich der Stadt hinzu, welche zu der Straße zwischen Calais und Duisburg führt, um den Verkehr zu regulieren und kontrollieren. Auch wenn die Map-Edits einige positive Effekte mit sich brachten, hat es nicht zum Lösen des Verkehrsstaus innerhalb der Stadt geführt. Tatsächlich hat dies eher dazu geführt, dass das Problem einfach woanders hin verlagert wurde, statt das Problem zu lösen. Um zumindest temporär das Problem zu lösen, entschieden wir uns dazu, dass das Beste, was wir machen können, das Einführen einer No-Collision-Zone für das gesamte Stadtgebiet ist. Dies taten wir, um das Spielerlebnis zu verbessern und die Arbeitslast für unser Game Moderation Team zu vermindern. Egal wie viel Zeit und Moderation unsere Game Moderatoren in diesen Hotspot investierten, es hat alles nichts gebracht, einfach auf Grund der extremen Spielerzahl für die verhältnismäßig zu kleine Fläche. Wir wissen sehr wohl, dass das Einführen einer No-Collision-Zone weit davon entfernt ist und war, eine akzeptable Lösung zu sein und wir haben all euer Feedback in dieser Zeit zur Kenntnis genommen, wie z.B. jenes im Forum sowie das Feedback aus unserer Community-Umfrage. Zu der Zeit, als wir die No-Collision-Zone einführten, war uns bewusst, dass dies keine permante Lösung bleiben dürfte und dass wir nach einer anderen Lösung suchen mussten, um dieses Problem zu beheben. Kurz danach war es entschieden, dass das Add-On Team damit beauftragt werden würde, die Gesamtheit der Stadt Duisburg zu überarbeiten, damit diese den Anforderungen der Multiplayer-Welt gewachsen sein kann. Eigentlich war der Überarbeitungsprozess für nicht mehr als ein paar Monate angesetzt, aber es ist nun klar, dass dies viel zu optimistisch war. Neben der Tatsache, dass das Add-On Team eines der kleinsten Teams ist und das uns jedes Mitglied dieses Teams zu jedem Zeitpunkt verlassen könnte, ist es ebenfalls in Projekten mit wesentlich höherer Priorität involviert, wie z.B. offiziellen Events mit einzigartigen Map-Modifikationen. Des Weiteren ging es hierbei nicht nur um das bloße Ändern eines Stadtteils, sondern ging es darum, die ganze Stadt sowie alle Verkehrsanbindungen in der Nähe von Grund auf neu zu bauen, ganz zu schweigen von allen praktischen und technischen Komplikationen und Grenzen. Alles in allem hat das Planen, Ausführen und Testen wesentlich länger als erwartet gedauert und wir entschuldigen uns aufrichtig, für wie lange dies irgendwann dauern sollte sowie für das Fehlen von Aktion und Kommunikation während des gesamten Prozesses. Dies war eine wahrhaftige Lernphase für uns, sowohl wie wir intern mit komplexen Projekten umgehen, sowie wir solche Änderungen mit euch kommunizieren. Auf der anderen Seite können wir nun endlich Ankündigen, dass wir ein neues Duisburg sowie dessen Umgebung erstellt haben. Wie versprochen, wird die No-Collision-Zone entfernt. Um einen besseren Verkehrsfluss sicherzustellen wird jeglicher Verkehr, der Stadteinwärts fährt, von Norden aus kommen und im Süden wieder Stadtauswärts fahren. Apropos Süden: Wir haben eine günstig gelegene Tankstelle, Service Station sowie einen Parkplatz für euch erstellt. Neben einer komplett neuen Stadt haben wir ebenfalls das Straßennetz mit vielen neuen Autobahnkreuzen und Überführungen ergänzt. Wir hoffen, dass diese neue Stadt die Auslastung auch für die direkte Umgebung mindern wird und die gesamte Umgebung auf langerwartete Standards angehoben wird. Wir würden uns über Feedback - sowohl positiv als auch negativ - freuen und können es kaum abwarten, euch auf den Straßen zu begegnen!

  15. Salutations Truckers, Ces dernières années, nous avons reçu des commentaires sur l'état de la ville de Duisbourg. Certains joueurs vétérans se rappellent peut-être les embouteillages permanents, qui se forment principalement autour de l'entrée et de la sortie de la station-service. Après avoir examiné la situation, nous avons constaté que la ville par défaut, telle qu'elle a été conçue par SCS Software, n'était tout simplement pas adaptée à un environnement multijoueur en raison de la quantité élevée de trafic qui traverse constamment la ville. De surcroît, ce projet ne consistait pas seulement à modifier une partie de la ville, mais à la reconstruire entièrement, ainsi que son réseau routier environnant, en partant de zéro, avec divers défis pratiques et techniques à relever. Dans l'ensemble, la planification, l'exécution et les tests ont pris beaucoup plus de temps que prévu et nous nous excusons sincèrement du temps que cela a pris et du manque d'action et de communication tout au long du processus. En plus de cette nouvelle ville, nous avons également créé un tout nouveau réseau routier avec de nombreux échangeurs et viaducs. Nous espérons que la nouvelle ville soulagera le stress lié à la circulation dans la région et lui donnera un coup de jeune, bien nécessaire pour la rendre conforme aux normes modernes.   17. I'd like to express my sincere respect for the decision made and put into practise by the TruckersMP team. It can't be an easy task spending time to puzzle your heads about a possible solution of an equation with many unknown variables. Thank you for your effort anyway! Time will tell if and how the situation improves and if adjustments are needed. Keep up the good work! ?

  19. Zdravíme vás, před několika lety jsme obdrželi zpětnou vazbu ohledně stavu Duisburgu. Někteří veteráni si možná pamatují dlouhodobě hustou dopravu, která se objevovala hlavně v okolí servisní stanice. Po přezkoumání jsme zjistili, že výchozí město, jak bylo navrženo SCS, nevyhovuje multiplayerovému prostředí kvůli velkému provozu, který konstantně proudí městem. Na začátku roku 2021 jsme se tento problém pokusili vyřešit pár menšími úpravami mapy: posunuli jsme servisní stanici na silnici, po které v té době nikdo nejezdil, vytvořili jsme větší čerpací stanici před městem a přidali semafory na regulaci vytížené křižovatky na východní straně města – která vede k silnici mezi městy Duisburg a Calais. Přestože tyto úpravy měly nějaký kladný efekt, nevyřešilo to problémy s provozem uvnitř města. Vlastně to přesunulo problémy na jiné místo, něž aby je to vyřešilo. Abychom dočasně problémy odstranili, přišlo nám nejlepší zavést bezkolizní zónu na celé město pro zlepšení uživatelského zážitku a odstranění zátěže na náš Game Moderation Team. Bez ohledu na to, kolik úsilí by naši Game Moderatoři do této oblasti vložili, provoz tam byl zkrátka příliš vysoký. Uvědomujeme si, že zavedení bezkolizní zóny bylo a je velmi daleko od přijatelného řešení a roky jsme si důkladně četli vaši zpětnou vazbu jak na fóru, tak i v nedávném komunitním průzkumu. Když byla bezkolizní zóna zavedena, bylo jasné, že se nejedná o trvalé řešení a že se musíme porozhlédnout po jiném řešení problému. Krátce na to bylo rozhodnuto, že náš Add–On Team přepracuje celé město Duisburg tak, aby to vyhovovalo požadavkům multiplayeru. Proces přepracování měl původně trvat nejvýše pár měsíců, ale již nyní je jasné, že to bylo příliš optimistické. Mimo to, že náš Add–On Team je relativně malý a jeho talentovaní členi mohou odejít kdykoliv z různých důvodů. Náš Add–On Team se také velmi zapojuje do projektů s vyšší prioritou, jako jsou třeba oficiální události s unikátními úpravami mapy. Navíc tento projekt nebyl jen o změně části města, naopak to bylo o kompletním přepracování města a okolní silniční sítě od začátku s různými technickými a praktickými výzvami, se kterými si náš tým poradil. Celkově plánování, provedení a testování nakonec trvalo mnohem déle, než bylo očekáváno a za to se upřímně omlouváme. Také se omlouváme za nedostatek akce a komunikace během celého procesu. Toto pro nás byla určitě vzdělávací zkušenost, jak interně řešíme složité projekty a také jak bychom s vámi měli ohledně takových změn komunikovat. Na druhou stranu můžeme konečně oznámit, že jsme vytvořili nový Duisburg a přilehlé oblasti. Jak jsme slíbili, bezkolizní zóna bude odstraněna. Pro zajištění lepší průjezdnosti městem, veškerá doprava vjíždějící do města přijede ze severovýchodu a vyjede na jihu. Když už mluvíme o jihu, vytvořili jsme tam vhodné místo pro čerpání pohonných hmot, servis a parkování. K tomu všemu jsme vybudovali novou silniční síť s mnoha dálničními mimoúrovňovými křižovatkami. Doufáme, že nové město sníží dopravní zátěž v této oblasti a poskytne jí nezbytné oživení na moderní standardy.   20. Saludos Camioneros, Hace varios años, recibimos comentarios sobre el estado de la ciudad de Duisburgo. Algunos jugadores veteranos recordarán la congestión permanente del tráfico, que se formaba principalmente alrededor de la entrada y la salida de la estación de servicio. Al revisarlo, nos dimos cuenta de que la ciudad por defecto, tal y como la había diseñado SCS Software, simplemente no era adecuada para un entorno multijugador debido a la gran cantidad de tráfico que fluye constantemente por la ciudad. A principios de 2021, intentamos resolver este problema realizando unas pequeñas modificaciones en el mapa: trasladamos la entrada y la salida de la estación de servicio a una carretera que nadie utilizaba en ese momento, creamos una estación de combustible más grande a las afueras de la ciudad y añadimos semáforos para regular el cruce de carreteras más utilizado en el lado este de la ciudad, que lleva a la carretera entre Duisburgo y Calais. Aunque estas modificaciones del mapa tuvieron algunos efectos positivos, no resolvieron los problemas de circulación dentro de la ciudad. De hecho, había trasladado los problemas a otro punto de acceso en lugar de solucionarlos. Poco después se decidió que nuestro equipo de complementos rediseñaría toda la ciudad de Duisburgo para hacerla apta para el multijugador. En un principio, el proceso de rediseño iba a durar como mucho unos meses, pero ahora está claro que era demasiado optimista. Aparte del hecho de que nuestro equipo de complementos es relativamente pequeño y de que nuestros miembros con talento pueden marcharse en cualquier momento por diversas razones, nuestro equipo de complementos también está muy involucrado en proyectos de mayor prioridad, como los eventos oficiales con modificaciones de mapas únicas. Además, este proyecto no consistía simplemente en cambiar una parte de la ciudad, sino en reconstruir por completo la ciudad y su red de carreteras circundantes desde cero, con varios retos prácticos y técnicos que superar. En definitiva, la planificación, la ejecución y las pruebas han llevado mucho más tiempo del previsto y pedimos sinceras disculpas por el tiempo que ha llevado todo esto y por la falta de acción y comunicación a lo largo del proceso. Sin duda, ha sido una experiencia de aprendizaje para nosotros, tanto para la forma en que tratamos internamente los proyectos complejos como para la forma en que debemos comunicarles esos cambios. El lado positivo es que por fin podemos anunciar que hemos creado la nueva ciudad de Duisburgo y sus alrededores. Como se prometió, se eliminará la zona de no colisión. Para garantizar una mejor circulación, todo el tráfico que entre en la ciudad lo hará por el noreste y saldrá por el sur. Hablando del sur, hemos creado una conveniente área de combustible, servicio y estacionamiento para que la disfrutes. Además de una ciudad completamente nueva, también hemos creado una red de carreteras completamente nueva con muchos nuevos intercambios de carreteras y pasos elevados.   23. Suggestion Name: Hardcore simulation server Suggestion Description: As the title suggest, would love to see a hardcore sim server. I'm a trucker IRL for 15+ yrs now, and played ETS2 since it got released to. Finally bought it legit a few weeks ago, just to experience TMP. Been driving on Sim1 for a while now, and tho it's very fun, there are still alot of players that completly ignore every rule. Also doesn't feel like a simulation when everyone drives 110kmh everywhere. For a server setup i would go for: *Atleast level 20 and 50h on Steam. *Forced Speedlimit +5. *Forced resting *Forced advanced parking *Only NCZ at garage, anywhere else players wait their turns. *3x redlight is kick, 6x is 1H ban. *No troll cars. Why should it be added?: I feel there are alot of players who want to take it a step further, and take it more serious.

  25. Right of Way Guide for all Junctions By ash.exe I usually see a few people make the mistake of giving way to people when they have the right of way or incorrectly taking priority in a junction. Seeing as there isn't really a guide that covers this properly, I thought I might as well make it. This guide will go over the fundamentals to all junctions in ETS2/ATS and will highlight who has the right of way at each area. General Rules: Avoid unnecessarily giving priority to other individuals - A lot of users typically flash their high beams to let the other person know they are giving way. This should only be done if the other driver has priority to continue or if the road is not busy at all. Do not flash to give priority in busy areas. If you do not have priority on that junction, give way to drivers around that do - This will keep junctions organised and safe for everyone around. Always use indicators when necessary - This makes it easier for other traffic to understand what you are doing. If you don't signal, others may have to guess what you are doing. If someone else mistakenly takes priority when they shouldn't have, avoid crashing into them - If you can clearly see another driver try to take priority at a junction they do not have priority on, do everything you can to avoid a crash whether that be to slow down or to swerve to avoid the situation. Please be mindful of other drivers around you. Do not approach a junction too quickly - This gives you less time to react to other traffic around and increases risk of accidents. The faster you go, the more responsibility is held upon you. Do not overtake on non-highway junctions - This will likely interrupt other traffic around you and may cause a collision with oncoming traffic. The next sections will explain each junction, each truck's priorities and tips for the area. Although the images below may be represented when trucks are stopped, this also applies to any vehicles that are moving and have priority over the other vehicle. T-Junctions: Also applies to Non Collision Zones and Y Junctions 1 BLUE TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or turn right without giving way 2 RED TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead without giving way | Must give way to Blue truck before turning left 3 GREEN TRUCK: Must give way to Blue Truck if turning right | Must give way to Blue and Red Trucks if turning left Emerge out slightly in the direction you are going to if you are a Green Truck. Drivers with larger cargos or long trailers may need to use extra space to turn. Give way to them if you need to. Do not enter the junction if the exit road is not clear. Traffic controlled Crossroad: 1 GREEN TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or turn right without giving way | Cannot turn left 2 BLUE TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead without giving way | Must give way to Red Truck before turning left (Only if the Red Truck is going straight ahead) | Cannot turn right 2 RED TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead without giving way | Must give way to Blue Truck before turning left (Only if the Blue Truck is going straight ahead) | Cannot turn right If turning right as a blue or red truck, turn the steering wheel as early as possible. If the Red Truck is carrying a long trailer, they will assume priority over the blue truck when turning right. Do not proceed past the traffic line if you are the blue truck. Use as much space as possible if you are the red truck. Same applies to the opposite. Anyone that jumps the red light automatically assumes priority over any other vehicle. Do not jump the red light as you are likely to cause an accident. Do not change lanes in the middle of the junction. Crossroads with Stop Line: Also applies to give way lines 1 GREEN TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or turn right without giving way | Must give way to Red Truck before turning left 1 RED TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or turn right without giving way | Must give way to Green Truck before turning left 2 BLUE TRUCK: Must give way to Red Truck if turning right | Must give way to Green and Red Trucks if turning left or going straight ahead If yourself and the driver head are turning left, steer as early as possible. If there is a conflict of give ways for the blue truck and the truck ahead, assume priority by first come first serve. If this crossroad is unmarked, no one has priority. Only emerge on a first come first serve basis. Do not enter the junction if the exit road is not clear. Roundabouts Also applies to mini roundabouts in Promods or single lane roundabouts. 1 BLUE TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or turn right without giving way 2 GREEN TRUCK: Must give way to drivers on the roundabout (Blue Truck) before turning right 2 RED TRUCK: Must give way to driers on the roundabout (Blue Truck) before turning left Use the correct lane before entering the roundabout. Circle the roundabout if you miss your exit. Drivers with wide cargo or long trailers may need to use both lanes of the roundabout. Do not attempt to overtake them. Avoid swerving or switching lanes on the roundabout. Do not attempt to exit the roundabout at the correct lane if you've missed it. Slip Road Exit: GREEN TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or exit the motorway RED TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead | Cannot exit the motorway Merge into the slip road as early as possible, especially in traffic situations. If you miss your exit, continue straight ahead. Slow down if you are entering the slip road. Do not attempt to reverse to get to the slip road. Do not cut drivers off if exiting the motorway. Slip Road Entry to Motorway with Fast Moving Traffic: 1 RED TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead without giving way | Should give way to traffic on the slip road where possible 2 GREEN TRUCK: Must give way to traffic (Red Truck) already on the main road If you are the Red Truck and the Green Truck is already ahead of you, try to give way to them if possible. Use the full length of the slip road to accelerate. Do not enter the slip road if you are the Red Truck. Do not prevent the driver from entering the main road if they already committed to it. Slip Road Entry to Motorway with Slow Moving Traffic: 2 RED TRUCK: Give way to vehicles on the slip road (Green Truck) where possible 1 GREEN TRUCK: Use the full length of the slip road and merge into the main road where there is a gap Always leave a gap between yourself and the driver ahead to allow slip road traffic to merge. Take advantage of any gaps you might find near the end of the slip road. Do not attempt to close the gap if a driver has already committed to merging to the next lane. This will cause a blockage for both traffic. Do not prevent drivers from entering the gap. It is usually a common mistake for people to close gaps and preventing traffic on the slip road from merging. Although traffic on the main road may have priority, it may cause an increase in traffic for slip road drivers. Avoid treating priority as a competition here. Having the mindset of "I have priority on this lane so drivers should not merge here" creates more traffic for other lanes. Cloverleaf interchange with Fast Moving Traffic: 1 GREEN TRUCK: Can proceed straight ahead or exit the motorway without giving way 2 RED TRUCK: Must give way to drivers on the main road (Green Truck) including if they are exiting the motorway | Can proceed ahead or enter the motorway If you are the red truck, approach this junction slowly and be prepared to give way to other drivers. If you cannot enter the motorway, continue straight ahead and loop the cloverleaf. Enter the slip road early if you are the green truck. Do not accelerate if you are the red truck and there is another truck next to you. Avoid rushing to get to the motorway. You can always go the wrong way. Cloverleaf interchange with Slow Moving Traffic: 1 RED TRUCK: If there is space for you to enter the motorway, proceed 2 GREEN TRUCK: If entering the slip road might block traffic (Red Truck) from entering the motorway, wait before the entry point to allow traffic on the slip road to move. Proceed to the exit if your vehicle size won't block traffic behind. Take advantage of any gaps that might allow you to enter the motorway. If you are driving the blue truck, keep the gap between yourself and the truck ahead as small as possible. Be prepared to wait a bit longer if the Red Truck is carrying a long cargo. Do not block traffic (Red Truck) from entering the motorway. This increase traffic for that side too. Never attempt to merge into the slip road too late as you will block traffic behind you. However if I had to give a negative feedback I would say with that many junctions and roundabouts you will have a looot of collisions because of all the kids/trolls of C-D and we will see an extension of the non-collision area to the whole city very soon ?

(materiał z ets2 został skasowany na twitch oraz YT) pozdrawiam gracza zum zum (znajdziecie jego kilka kont z premem) a mimo to gracz nadal jeździ Z drugiej strony to ciekawy temat, bo administracja już nie raz informowała że nasze materiały są przechowywane również na ich serwerach, to jak to jest? niby robią kopie i mimo tego w przypadku skasowania materiału przez osoby trzecie, najgorzej na tym wychodzi właśnie osoba zgłaszająca? To może lepiej nie wysyłać tych reportów, i niech sama administracja zacznie być bardziej aktywna i robić to za graczy? Tak wiemy jest bajka "Admin tez człowiek" ale czy admin jak mu ktoś usunie materiał jest ukarany?
