He will be missed not only as a colleague, but also as a friend to many. With almost four years of service on record for the TruckersMP Team, we thank him for his continuous service and support, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and relatives during this difficult time. List of changes from 6th June 2022: Added the CB radio in the hexagon interior variant of DAF 2021 XG. Fixed the CB radio position in all UK interiors of DAF 2021 XG. Fixed the lifted axle state on a player's vehicle spawn. Fixed a bug when a lifted wheel was under the ground on a player's vehicle spawn. Fixed the permissions of the pilot beacon in American Truck Simulator. It is now being shown in the truck dealer and can be used, too. Fixed the game being stuck when visiting a truck dealer.

TruckersMP never said it will be cross-platform immediately. The game is completely different on Linux binary-wise, they will have to do the same thing (decompiling, porting, testing, bug fixing) again for each platform they support. ETS2 being native is a negative factor in that regard - TruckersMP should be native as well and support Linux native ecosystem in order for it to work. One cannot simply grab a Windows-native application and make it work against a Linux-native one without a hassle. Another factor is a cost vs. impact. Right now, Steam counts Linux user base as 1.12%, even less than macOS users. The real count for ETS2/ATS is unknown, but it is very rare to see a person playing these games not on Windows, in my experience. We can estimate it as max. 50 people based on 4.688 concurrent player peak last week. It is not viable for 4.640 users to wait at least twice as long for an MP to update, just because those 50 people want to play on Linux. Sounds kinda harsh, but that is a crude reality. And do not forget about a cost associated with it. Game Devs will have to learn how to decompile/develop against a Linux-native app, this will require a substantial amount of time. There are benefits of having a Linux port of TruckersMP, but they are minor compared to a number of issues which will be introduced with it. Maybe in the far future, when TruckersMP will reach a beta stage, it will be mature enough to spend the time on porting.

Hey truckers! We hope you have been enjoying celebrating #TMP8 with us, and had fun at the various events on offer over the weekend! A while ago, you may have seen that we mentioned something about buses in TruckersMP in our launcher or on one of our social media channels. The addition of buses has been a much-requested feature in our community for the past few years. Since last year, we have been exploring a partnership with the folks at DBus World to make that a possibility and bring a new way of playing on our servers. As you may already know from the Alternating Vehicles of the past months, our team can bring a bus model themselves, but we want to offer the community more than just a model to drive. Therefore, we are excited to announce that we will be supporting the DBus World client for use on the TruckersMP servers! So… bus when? Well, we want to provide the bus as soon as possible and we are working hard with DBus World to make it happen. At the moment the final touches are being made and we expect to be able to welcome buses to TruckersMP shortly; from now on, we will provide regular updates on our social media channels. Initially, we will only offer one bus, as we want to offer the best performance possible without issues caused by file size and animations. We need to evaluate these aspects thoroughly before we can confidently offer more buses, as we only want to provide a polished end product for you to enjoy. Hopefully, we can count on your support for that! Patreon We also want to offer an insight into our Patreon campaign. Most of you have probably noticed that activity on our servers had decreased in the second half of 2021 and this was also visible in the revenue that we gathered through Patreon. In the image below, you can see that the monthly income through Patreon has been consistently decreasing since May 2021. This income is important for us to ensure that our Game Developers can devote their precious time to TruckersMP, to ensure that regular updates take place and that new features are developed for the community. Later this year, we plan to introduce additional and new benefits for Patrons as we develop them. Are you currently a Patron or have you been a Patron before? We would love to hear your views and opinions on our current campaign so we can make it even better! This is a crucial task in order to fulfill one of our long term ambitions: to introduce AI traffic on TruckersMP servers. You can also expect to see more features added to the Job Tracker and Job Dispatcher, as well as further improvements to the in-game user interface and the achievement system. We will also be looking into bringing in-game profiles, which you can fully customize to represent who you are, what you prefer doing on our servers, and show off things you unlocked. Greetings! If you attended our 12th Real Operations in September, you may have been impressed with our wide range of custom vehicles involved to pull off such a massive event. With that being said, Real Operations is returning to Europe once again! Introducing... Our upcoming Real Operations will be the best Euro Trucks Simulator 2 event yet! Featuring lots of new vehicles and operations, you will be joined amongst thousands of players experiencing our most thrilling European adventure. Everything will be happening in real-time for you and your fellow truckers to witness. From emergency vehicles responding to incidents, including; fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances, to dynamic custom roadworks, rescue missions, and even police chases! This time though, an operation could occur right in front of your eyes, as we look to immerse you in the experience further by having the incidents take place in real time! Real Operations V13 There's not long to wait before you're in your truck and experiencing our thirteenth edition of TruckersMP's large scale event. We're very excited to confirm the event will be live on Sunday 12 June 2022 between the hours of 15:00 - 19:00 UTC. That's four hours to experience the real operations. If you're not sure when you can play in your timezone, please refer to our Alternative Timezones. Real Ops V13 will be held around eight different cities ranging from Calais, Paris, and Mannheim. All of the cities and roads where the operations take place are shown in the event zone map below. In Real Operations, you can choose which city you start in, and where you want to end. You can take a trailer with any destination or use your own trailer if you've purchased one. You don't need to set a destination, either! Participants are welcome to freely roam on the highlighted area above to experience any route you choose. Want to check out that awesome operation again? You can always return to the operation by turning around safely such as using a junction or simply going around in a circle! Just don't stop in a live lane! This is going to be a unique event and as such the temporary rules have been adjusted to ensure it goes smoothly. Suggestion Name: CB Radio voice volume limiter Suggestion Description: A way of reducing any extreme voice volume while still being able to hear softer speakers. Why should it be added?: With the vast variation in voice volume/intensity, setting a suitable volume in the settings is quite difficult. To reduce the risk of having a heart attack caused by "high energy" people, while still being able to hear the softer speakers, a limiter on the CB radio would be pretty great, so that the sound volume is evened out.

Overtaking queues of traffic is forbidden. Participants must drive on or near the Real Operations V13 event zone (Map). Free-roaming in other cities and roads is forbidden. Participants are required to obey all staff instructions. It is possible you will be pulled over or directed to move out of emergency vehicles paths where safe to do so. It is possible a rolling road block may be implemented. In this event your vehicle should not exceed one (1) trailers. This includes dollies. This means HCT's and doubles are not permitted. It is forbidden to drive underneath a lane that has been closed. This is displayed via the red X above the lane. You will be given plenty of warning to move out of those lanes prior to a red X being displayed. They are closed for a reason as there is danger ahead! It is forbidden to pass a gantry stating that the road is closed. These will also display a red X across every lane. You must wait at this signal until it changes stating how you may proceed. Overhead speed limits should be followed. These will be different to the speed displayed on your navigation bar. These will be enforceable by our motorways team. The hard shoulder may be used as a live lane. You should only ENTER the hard shoulder when directed to do so by the overhead signals and a speed limit above the lane will be displayed. Stopping on the hardshoulder when it is being used as a live lane is not permitted. This will be classed as blocking. If you breakdown and cannot move off quickly, use F7+Enter to avoid blocking the road. Staff members will be exempt from the CB abuse rule. Hello! ? So recently I have a big problem with TruckersMP. Game just crashes when I spawn and start driving. I thought maybe it's becasue of Frosty Winter mod so I removed it but it's still the same.
