  12. Suggestion Name: One Casual Server Suggestion Description: One Server with no Speed Limit + enabled Collisions, with all applicable rules (hacking, reckless driving, verbal abuse) that appeals to a more casual audience. To relieve the load of incoming reports and to keep the moderation focus on the Simulation Servers (Based on standards set by Road To Simulation), it can have a low moderation priority and a modified reporting system (Perhaps by not allowing players to submit more reports than x number per day). Web-site reports should still apply. Any example images: No need. Why should it be added?: We've all seen the playerbase declining lately. I'm of the opinion that perhaps a more casual server could appeal to a wider audience. Currently, TMP's server structure is mostly attractive to simulation-oriented players. But let's not forget that several new players might not instantly assimilate to the simulation-oriented side of the game or they might prefer a more casual playstyle. Also, ETS2 is a game that is played by plenty of kids, who might not be ready to populate the Simulation Servers now, but could be potential future simulation players. I also had several bans up to 2018, but a clean history after that. Players can grow and the change in permanent bans shows just that. So why should we discourage these players from joining entirely, especially when the player numbers are struggling. Why don't we give it a try?

  17. Suggestion name: Bring haulie island to normal servers Suggestion Description:Pretty self explanatory Why it should be added:As the truckersmp community has seen over recent weeks haulie island has been an island of amazing entertainment and fun with race track and stage.Haulieisland took a lot of work from the TMP staff and users enjoyed it. I think that haulie island should be added to sim 1 and arcade with the race track which I’ve seen many users racing around it on freeroam I feel like it would be a good addition to the map for day to day. The race track is especially good as currently the only ones you can race at are on promods which some can’t afford all the dlcs for and it’s other forms of entertainment out of the normal kind of thing you tend to do in ets2/ats. Thanks for reading the suggestion.

  39. It depends on a number of factors. For instance, the load on the report systems determine where our main focus will be. The extent to which people are efficient on a particular system depends per person. In addition, as we share the total load as a team, it also depends how many current team members we have (i.e., many hands make light work). Some people also work faster than others, which could be influenced by experience. And of course, it also depends how busy people are in real life and to which extent they are able to cope with all their activities, considering that our Game Moderation team members are all volunteers. All in all, I would argue that being part of the Game Moderation Team is neither a hard nor a chill job. It is definitely doable for the average person, but there is a constant demand of activity that you are expected to put in. Since this depends per person, it is difficult to pin it down to specific number of hours though. I hope to having informed you sufficiently.

  40. Hello, Thank you for asking us some questions! Let's get right to it: 1. Like a lot of projects that we work on, alternating vehicles (AV) requires a team effort to complete each time. About a year ago, I converted every AI vehicle in ETS2 to be drivable either by players or staff. It took about 50-60 hours to convert each vehicle using Blender, write the necessary DEF files, and to test each vehicle making changes as necessary. Since all of the work was done up front, it now takes us about 10 minuets to prepare the new vehicles. Obviously, additional time is taken to prepare the community vote, analyze the date, pick the new cars to be voted, and utilize the testing team to test the new vehicles before they go onto the live servers. 2. During the year of 2021, we had many things on going and planned out. Most of these projects were in the early stages of development. Some of them have indeed been canceled due to their implication being either too complex or too simple to be standalone items. Some items are complete; however, they are waiting for the Developers to finish certain backend systems for the website and game servers. Additionally, the Add On Team didn't have very many members meaning that work too a long time as most people either work full time, have a family full time, or go to school full time. We'd prefer to release items that are perfect and bug free instead of things that are half baked and riddled with easily fixable issues. That being said, probably one of the biggest projects to date will be coming out in February 2022 with more things following in March. 2022 will be a good year for TruckersMP and we can't wait to see how the community will enjoy these new upcoming items. 3. The issues with the mirrors in the scout have been a long running issue that we revisit from time to time. Essentially the issue is that ETS2 and ATS use different textures and reflective properties for the mirrors which cause the effect. We have a plan to completely revamp the interior of the scout car to be more modern. We will look into fixing the mirror again at this time, but currently we do not have high hopes for a fix. Previous attempts caused issues with the mirrors in either game not loading or just showing a black texture. The current state was the best possible setting given the situation.

  41. Hey @.Andy., I have just added a ticket for Game-Developers to bring this feature. Moderators can currently use it how you described above, but it is sadly not reliable enough to release this to the community. A rework is first needed, and will happen maybe in February.

  42. Personally, I find Medal very convenient. I've got it set to save the last 60 seconds of gameplay when I press a hotkey (Insert in my case) and then it automatically uploads to the web once I close the game. Using any clipping software uses less disk space and is more convenient, but then the issue is you don't have a full record of everything, only the things you noticed. Regards, Quality_Productions
