Event Team Recruitment From the 27th of September until the 11th of October, we are looking for talented individuals to join our Event Team. The Event Team is responsible for the planning, management and coordination of official events within the TruckersMP community. Loading saves and directing players along the route is a crucial task, which sometimes involves the privilege of driving special vehicles. Core Requirements: Have good knowledge of TruckersMP and the rules Must be a member of TruckersMP for at least 12 months Must be registered on the TruckersMP forum for at least 3 months Must be at least 16 years old No bans / forum or Discord punishments within the last 12 months; Must have no more than 3 bans in the last 24 months Must have overall good behaviour, which includes forum, Discord and our official social media pages You have sufficient knowledge of the English language Good communication skills Resilient, active and flexible Ability to work within a team and on your own at times Eager to learn and progress your knowledge Organised and adaptive Be able to accept constructive criticism At least some activity on our forums and/or Discord Specific Qualifications: Able to communicate quickly and effectively, in English, in a voice channel. Have a clear microphone to allow for effective voice communication. Be available during times when events most often occur (weekends & evenings). Having all map DLCs is an advantage, but not a necessity. Languages This position does not require any specific language skills, however fluent English (written and spoken) is still a requirement. Writing this, due to my observation of too many players being confused about who has the right-of-way. SCS's recent rework on this junction gives a clearer right-of-way directions and signs, and I feel like we should better utilize the new junction. Location where this applies is indicated by the red circle. Yellow line is C-D proper. It works like this, according to the existing road signs: Green arrow: Always have the right of way. Yellow arrow: Yield to green arrows, but have the right of way over red arrows. Red arrow: Yield to everyone else. Wrong way, U-turn, driving on grass, using turn lane to go straight or vice versa: Never allowed. Rule of thumb: Never *assume* that anyone else will give up their right of way. Wait for their indications before proceeding - flashing high beams, horn, or messaging in chat/CB are commonly used for such indications. Most drivers doing the C-D road will follow the yellow arrows, true for both directions. In this case, just look out for traffic on green arrows, be nice to each other, and follow rules of the road in general. Drivers coming from Calais and heading further east towards Dortmund (Red arrow turning left) should be extremely cautious. Many drivers following the green arrows drive at excessive speeds. Make sure to look both directions, watch out for dots that are moving extremely fast on the navigation, and let them pass first. Also watch out for rule breakers. Many drivers coming from Dortmund and turning right towards Calais (Red arrow turning right) assume that they have the right of way for turning right (which is not true). This is where arguments and road rage happen the most frequently. Picture below explains this: Note the yield sign for red arrow, and priority sign for yellow.

Any example images: Why should it be added?: Currently, TruckersMP has many VTCs, some of which are allies (partnerships) other VTC. In the case of TeamAudi, we now have an alliance with the Wolves VTC, Snail Transport VTC, Team Coupang VTC and Team Free Fass. While maintaining an alliance, you can further improve the closeness, the bond, by participating in or co-hosting a convoy hosted by each other's teams. By maintaining this relationship, you can also share a lot of information about ETS2 or ATS. currently, TruckersMP has an alliance system and to develop this VTC System continue. To further develop the VTC system, TruckersMP Forum also eliminated the Forum section and integrated it into the VTC on the main page.
