Game Moderation Trainee Recruitment From the 15th February to 1st March, we are going to be looking for talented individuals to join our Game Moderation Team. Over the past years, our community has grown significantly. With currently over 4 million registered users and thousands of players trucking every day, it's for certain that we have lots of fans out there. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the TruckersMP experience. The Game Moderation Team plays an important role on TruckersMP. They are the community faces that users see every day, and they are a port of call for helping and assisting with questions, problems and difficulties that users may be experiencing. It's crucial that throughout the training and trial periods, and into the full role, your work is kept to a high-quality standard and communication and teamwork is excellent. You must remember that work needs to be kept to a high-quality standard and communication and teamwork is key. Responsibilities: Ensure player satisfaction by responding timely and accurately to player’s reports and issues; Provide support to players on game related queries; Ensure all players adhere to the TruckersMP rules; Assessing and fairly punishing users breaking the rules; Dealing with GM related matters; Enforcing our in-game rules across all servers, dealing with in-game and web reports. Core Requirements: A good understanding of English. You need to be able to understand others and others to understand you; Registered on the TruckersMP website for at least 1 year and on the Forum for at least six months; Showing activity on the TruckersMP services; Be active within all of the above for at least two months before the recruitment was created; No forum or discord punishments in the past year - No more than 3 bans in the last 24 months; Keen interest to learn and develop; high motivation; excellent communication; You must have a good standing nature within the community; You are responsible, professional and are resilient to critique; Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, ability to make authoritative and impacting decisions quickly; You are knowledgeable about the game and can provide tips to other players about the game and help with questions or issues; Have a deep knowledge and understanding of TruckersMP and its rules including European and American road laws; Familiar with the game's mechanics; Must be active in-game; Ability to reach the activity requirements. Hard and soft skills that are considered as a plus when we consider applications but are not mandatory requirements: Being able to fully understand multiple languages; Previous Moderation experience with provable examples in similar communities. You are: Fair: you are able to make a difference between good and bad, accidental, and intentional. Productive and motivated: you understand that the community relies on you and that you need to get your job done as quickly as possible without mistakes. Mature: you are able to handle feedback and complaints and improve where possible. Consistent: You are required to maintain a consistently high level of work throughout the GM position. The GM position demands more from you than any other position on the team. Professionalism: You are required to be professional and you are the face of this team. Things you should not do: Do not let anyone help you with your application. You should also not ask for help. This will hinder your chances. Do not think that it will be an easy journey, there is a lot to it. Do not give up if you have not received a response to your application yet. Patience is the key! Sometimes you are being monitored. Forum post count is no longer a requirement, however some activity on the forum or Discord is required. You can apply for this position here. Recruitment for this position ends on the 1st of March.
