Greetings! If you attended our Real Operations in Euro Truck Simulator 2 in November, you may have been impressed with our wide range of custom vehicles involved to pull off such a massive event. Not only that, our range of operations increased! But fear not American Truck fans. We're bringing Real Operations back to the USA very soon! Introducing... Our upcoming Real Operations will be the best American Truck Simulator event yet! Featuring lots of new vehicles and operations, you will be joined amongst thousands of players experiencing our most thrilling American adventure. Everything will be happening in real-time for you and your fellow truckers to witness. From emergency vehicles responding to incidents, including; fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances, to dynamic custom roadworks, rescue missions, and even police chases! Real Operations V9 There's not long to wait before you're in your truck and experiencing our nineth edition of TruckersMP's large scale event. We're very excited to confirm the event will be live on Saturday 30 May 2020 between the hours of 15:00 - 19:00 UTC. That's four hours to experience the real operations. If you're not sure when you can play in your timezone, please refer to our Alternative Timezones. Real Ops V9 will be held around fourteen different cities ranging from San Francisco, Fresno, and Redding. All of the cities and roads where the operations take place are shown in the event zone map below. In Real Operations, you can choose which city you start in, and where you want to end. You can take a trailer with any destination or use your own trailer if you're purchased one. You don't need to set a destination, either! Participants are welcome to freely roam on the highlighted roads above to experience any route you choose. Want to check out that awesome operation again? This guide is for people who want to keep 1.37 installed for whatever reason (i use VR) but still want to play in MP. We are going to be using a batch script to rename the ETS2 folder and make Steam launch the version of your choosing. Go to https://pastebin.com/00pVkCs9 Copy the code into your favorite text editor (like Notepad++) Substitute %SteamLibrary% with your Steam library folder (For example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common) Save the file anywhere as .bat Now off to prepare your game's folder: If you're playing in MP, you have version 1.36. Go to your Steam library folder and make a copy of the Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder and name it "Euro Truck Simulator 2 - 1.36" without quotes. THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT AS THE BATCH FILE LOOKS SPECIFICALLY FOR THAT FOLDER! Go to Steam and opt out of the 1.36 fallback and wait for the download to complete. That's it! List of changes from 8th May 2020: CB radio channels can be changed by using the keyboard; use comma (,) to increase the channel, and period (.) to decrease the channel. CB radio channels are now synchronized between the client and the server. If the /channel command is used, the displayed channel is also updated on the CB radio model in the truck.
