We love to bring you new game updates, especially when they contain some cool features that you have requested for a long time; and we really appreciate all the help our great community provides with testing each new update during the open beta stage. Today, we'd like to invite you to help us finalize the features that are coming to American Truck Simulator along with the next update. Please read below, and if you like living on the edge, get ready to join the 1.37 Update Open Beta. So what's coming with it, you ask? Let's start with the major thing on the list - a new sound engine! As you probably read in our first tease of this development (if not then you can find it here), this is the first planned phase of bringing new and better sounds to our games. With the 1.37 update, we are radically redefining the way we mix vehicle and environment sounds. We are switching from having two separate sound sets for the interior and exterior of your truck; to a new system which is based on a unified SFX set with various filters and effects applied on it during the final composition. The end result sounds fantastic to our ears already, and we are just getting started. We are really looking forward to your reaction! You can also expect new sound for most of the AIs (including trains) and experience true Doppler effect as the first fruits from the integration of the FMOD sound library. Please note that any of these new sounds still might be subject to further changes according to the feedback we need to gather first. As a benefit from the new sound mixing approach, we are happy to bring you a new feature that we have already quietly teased here. Did you spot it? At long last, you can open your truck windows! Some may consider it a gimmick, but many of you have been calling us to introduce this feature for years. You can now enjoy the continuum of sound levels between a well-insulated cabin with windows closed and the roaring traffic coming from the outside when you roll the windows all the way down. Give it a try especially when you hit the rush hour on the road or at some big junction. Back to the most important thing, your help! We are releasing this open beta today with sound modders in mind. The changes are radical from their point of view, as they will need to re-learn a lot of the techniques used. We appreciate our modding communities' passion and dedication and we expect modders to be able to raise the bar again as they become familiar with the new way to implement sounds into the game. We are bringing out the open beta early as we are eagerly looking forward to receiving your feedback and constructive criticism to be able to iterate where needed. Because our programmers and SFX guys have already invested a huge amount of time into this feature, we understand there is still a lot of work ahead of us. Another addition you might have spotted in a recent social media teaser is the "walk-around feature." Our game world is generally not designed for exploration on foot, but we figure that fans of trucks may welcome a new closer perspective to view their favorite machines and appreciate how impressive they look. Getting up close may also be of use when you need to tune up your rig and match the color of your rims with the cabin's paint just right. So here we are with a little bonus feature of 1.37, an alternate way to control the camera in the game's service and vehicle browser. We had to redesign the "garage" scene a little to make more space and way for the cameras, hopefully, you will appreciate it. Hungry for more? Then get ready for some food tanks! And we mean literally food tanks because, with this update, a new type of trailer comes available to buy and customize. These beauties were highly demanded for some time and so we're glad and proud we can bring them for you, our #BestCommunityEver! Last but not least, for owners of the Steering Creations Pack DLC, we are about to expand the content of the DLC with an additional bunch of steering wheels. Not all of them are ready yet, but our 3D graphic artists are finishing them and we expect to introduce them in stages during the open beta period.   8. I've been this close to committing ritual seppuku lately at the behavior of car drivers/pilots specifically, so have a guide. How to pilot by Ozy So, let me open this up with something that should be obvious but many people do not understand; You are not a admin. You are not a cop. Let me say that again. You are not a cop. You are not a cop. Now that that's out of my system, let's move on to what a pilot car is. What is a pilot car? Within the context of real life, a pilot car escorts a oversized/overweight load ensuring the safety of the load and other drivers. But, since we don't have any "real" oversized loads (Arguably the only things applicable "oversized" loads are the heavier construction equipment, due to their odd dimensions.), they are more likely used as convoy escorts for player convoys. What is a pilot cars responsibility? Since you asked, as mentioned, you're not a cop. What your job is is ensuring the safety of the load (Within the context of ATS/ETS2, the convoy) and other drivers on the road around your convoy. How? Through several main ways: Acting as the convoys eyes and ears. You're supposed to be up ahead of the convoy, spotting oncoming traffic, obstacles, etc, and relaying them over voice comms (be it in game CB or TeamSpeak) Navigating the various streets, highways, etc, among your route. It's your job and the convoy planners job to ensure the route is planned properly and everything is in place before you depart. Don't be that guy who makes a wrong turn and logjams the whole convoy. Acting as a warning device to other drivers, particularly on smaller roads. Ensuring the convoy gets from point A to point B safely. Maneuvering, vehicle operation, etc. There is really only two places the Pilot cars should be; at the front and at the back. Your job is utterly defeated by hanging in the middle of the convoy for extended periods of time as a pilot car. Here's a (poorly drawn) Illustration of pilot cars in relevance to a convoy on a 4 lane highway: Not a few things: The pilot cars are not blocking or obstructing any traffic. Non-convoy traffic has a clear route to pass the convoy, which will likely be driving slower than normal traffic due to its size. The convoy trucks are contained within the two pilots. The pilots job is to make sure the truckers know about other traffic and that the other traffic knows about the convoy. I understand controlling Convoys, particularly large ones, can be very hard, but AVOID the convoy taking up multiple lanes of a multi-lane highway. It's bad form and there will be other drivers who will want to pass the convoy. Take up the most-right lane (or in Britian, most left) and only use the others for people passing within the convoy or for making turns. On larger convoys you usually can count on having at least 1 admin able to help you out with this. Some times, pilots must also take initiative to ensure the convoy can safely traverse a adverse situation. A few examples: If approaching a tight turn/intersection, and traffic is nearby, you're better off letting that traffic through before proceeding. You're about to potentially hog up that intersection for a while with the convoy and there's no use forcing the traffic to be stuck. Particularly true if you need to make a tight turn and the traffic is in the other lane which the truckers might need to use to turn. When approaching a left hand turn (or right hand turn in UK) on a two way highway, the rear pilot car should swing out *before* the convoy and occupy the left hand lane. Illustration: Spacing + Small roads/tight corners While spacing isn't as important on divided highways, on rural/two lane roads, the lead pilot car should increase its spacing from the convoy. It may be practical to shift the convoys arrangement from the typical highway arrangement to this: This is for several reasons: The highway/road is no longer divided. Oncoming traffic colliding with the convoy is now a real possibility. Many roads have tight/blind corners that are prone to truck collisions. The lead vehicle, 3-500m infront of the convoy, can act two fold; to act as the convoys eyes and ears for oncoming traffic, and to let oncoming traffic know there is a convoy approaching. This ensures both the convoy and oncoming traffic knows about eachother before they meet on a small road or blind corner. Both are more prepared to safely navigate the situation, both slow down, etc. Pilot 2 takes over the role of 'leading' the convoy from its direct front. A rear car is no longer as important compared with the threat of oncoming traffic. Setting up your ride for pilot duty You've read the guide and want to shred it, what do you do with the Skoda? Dump the big engine. You won't be needing it, it's way too finnicky, hard to handle, and you won't be needing to go 140mph anyways. Use the pilot lightbar (Duh.) Use the pilot skin. Don't be that guy who is like "BRUHHH IM A PILOT!" when you have a savefile modded metallic skin on the car. You just look like a troll and no ones going to take you seriously (If anyone will anyways) If in some kind of official convoy, set your clan tag to CONVOY PILOT or something among those lines. It reaffirms who you are because there will be trolls in fake pilot cars pretending to know what they're doing. The key difference is they don't and you do. Conclusion I hope this guide has at least partially taught you how to pilot. Hopefully we can fix the reputation all pilots are trolls one convoy at a time. Have fun!

  10. Suggestion- engine overheat in trucks and cars. Why it should be added-it will bring the awaited feature in truckersmp.It will open a new world of realism to the players. How the feature would function-if you red line or drive near red line rpm for a fair bit of like 5 mins continuously driving on red line or near it your truck engine would overheat and will have to be stopped for cooling it down.

  17. Hallo Fana, Jeder deiner gezeigten LKW verstößt gegen unsere Save Edit Regeln in jeglicher Hinsicht. Alle LKW überschreiten das Duplizierungslimit (von 1) und sind daher illegal bzw. sind diese nicht auf unseren Servern erlaubt. Jedoch sei auch bedacht, man darf zwar einmal duplizieren, jedoch darf nur eins der beiden duplizierten Anbauteile (addon hookups: lights, beacons, etc / Lichter, Rundumleuchten, etc) haben. Wie schon gesagt, da jeder gezeigte LKW von dir gegen §3.5 verstößt sind diese alle nicht zur Benutzung auf unseren Servern erlaubt und daher auch das Savegame von dir hinfällig, bzw die enthaltenden LKW. Hallo @Fana, zu deiner Frage A kann ich dir durchaus eine Antwort geben: Es gab leider immer mal wieder Fälle, in welchen die Freiheiten beim Save Editing von Spielern im negativen Sinne ausgenutzt wurden. Die Save-Editing Regeln wurden nun wieder einmal angepasst. Ich nehme mir bei dieser Sache kein Blatt vor den Mund - es gibt durchaus viele Spieler, welche mit dem neuen bzw. aktualisierten Regelwerk nicht im Grünen sind. Des Weiteren ist durchaus auch infrage zu stellen, ob die neuen Regeln wirklich einen positiven Erfolg für die Community bringen. Fakt ist, dass sich alle an diese neuen Regeln halten müssen. Ich empfehle, gar nicht erst irgendwelche Save-Editings vorzunehmen. Man kann nämlich auch mit den standardmäßig konfigurierbare LKWs und deren Anbauteilen sehr schöne Fahrzeuge nach eigenen Wüschen gestalten Zu deiner Frage B wirst du sicherlich auch eine Antwort erhalten, ich kann dir diesbezüglich jedoch leider nicht weiterhelfen, da auch ich mir bei der ein oder anderen Sache nicht 100% sicher bin

  19. Merhaba @ENES55TR, Gönderdiğiniz log'dan anladığım kadarıyla, DX11 hatası alıyorsunuz. Ya bilgisayarınızda DX11 problemi mevcut yada yüklediğiniz bir mod DX11 ile uyumlu değil. 1- Modları kapatıp, yeni bir profil oluşturarak oyuna girmeyi deneyin. Problem çıkmazsa demektir ki, kullandığınız modlardan birisi DX11 ile uyumlu değildir. 2- Güncellemeleri yapın. DX11 Güncellemek için: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 Ekran kartınızı da güncelleyin. Eğer işe yaramazsa OpenGL modunda oyununuzu başlatın: - Steam kütüphanenizi açın, - ETS 2'yi seçip OYNA butonuna basınız, - Açılan pencerede, "Launch with OpenGL" seçeneğini seçin, - Oyuna başlayın, oyun açıldıktan ve birazcık sürdükten sonra oyunu kaydedip, oyundan çıkın. - Oyundan çıktıktan sonra, TruckersMP uygulamasını çalıştırmayı deneyin.   23. Due to popular demand, the return of video contest has been a success! This year we allowed you to record on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, which brought a lot of variety to the videos submitted. Our committee of judges really enjoyed watching all your videos, even if it did mean settling down for hours at a time to do so. We were especially surprised by the creativity and work that went into some these entries. There was an overwhelming majority of ETS2 videos - which is somewhat surprising, considering ATS videos could've been from two states, both single and combined. So due to the ratio, 4 winning videos are from good old Europe and 1 from the States! HetriX with a professional trailer! Thizorac with a wonderful Twin Peaks references! JekaArtz with a well-balanced video! Tamás Vajvoda (so epic as a whole, we expected a dragon somewhere in there!) Toast (European trucking with American country music!) It wasn't an easy choice to pick our winners, as some of the other videos came close to reaching a top 5 spot, however, we have decided to give some of these videos honourable mention special prize for their efforts! Kuba522 - this video was sooo close to hit TOP 5!Cinematography Gaming - with some great shots of the many landmarks and assets!Stasmaster - a great journey!We have also picked some of your entries to be featured on our social media channels, because of the number of great videos you've sent us. We certainly did enjoy watching them all! Be sure to look out for them on our official Facebook and Twitter accounts. Unfortunately, not all entries made it to our judging panel as they did not reach the requirements we set for the contest, so make sure to read the rules carefully next time! Dear players, From the 1st February at midnight to 29th February, we are going to be looking for new Community Moderators to help engage the community on the Forum or Discord as well as ensure that the community follows the TruckersMP rules. Description of role: The Community Moderation Team is responsible for moderating all non-game related platforms that we use to interact with the community. Included in this, is moderation on our Forums, Discord guild and Facebook page as well as the TruckersMP group. Required languages: Forums: Finnish, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish Discord: Dutch, Portuguese, Turkish Social Media: English Although these are the languages that we are primarily looking for, we will be flexible. Forums: Create positive community interaction; Ensure all topics, posts, replies, status updates and messages comply with the official TruckersMP rules; Moving mistakenly submitted topics to the respective sections; Keep the forums organised; Archiving inactive topics; Handling the forum reports; Dealing with Suggestions. Discord: Create positive community interaction; Ensure all content posted in the Discord Guild complies to all Discord rules; Regularly work with the Community Moderation Manager to check the suggestions; Regularly review the Discord Guild rules and work with the Community Moderation Manager to rewrite them; Work with our users to keep a clean environment. Additionally, we encourage every Community Moderator to be active on social media, the public Discord guild and forums in order to be informed about everything. The more you know, the more valuable you are for the team and the better you will understand various situations. Joining requirements: Have good knowledge of TruckersMP and the rules Must be a member of TruckersMP for at least 12 months Must be registered on the TruckersMP forum for at least one month No bans within the last 12 months Must have no more than 3 bans at all Activity on the forum and/or discord Must have overall good behaviour, which includes in-game, forum, Discord and our official social media pages Language skills - English is necessary; being bilingual will be an advantage. Good communication skills Resilient, active and flexible Ability to work within a team and on your own at times Eager to learn and progress your knowledge Organised and adaptive Be able to accept constructive criticism Previous experience is an advantage, but not a necessity Forums: To be registered on the forum for at least 6 months There is no minimum of posts, however, we strongly encourage you to interact with the community Discord: Good activity on the Discord. Our guideline is participating in conversations every other day for 1 month.   27. Hey there, I was thinking about an improvement in the AFK-System.. Suggestion Name: AFK-System Improvements Suggestion Description: Disable the AFK-System if a player has his warn lights on or is currently parking somewhere. Any example images: - Why should it be added?: I think that a feature like that would be pretty good, if you're about to take a little break, you just have to park somewhere or drive aside the road and turn your warn lights on to avoid a kick.
