Haven't had time to post about it yet but a big thank you to everyone that attended New Year's Event 2020! Despite some issues at the start, we managed to get to the end in one piece ? I just wanted to take this time to thank those who attended and most importantly the superb (as always) event staff who gave up a few hours of their New Year's Day for the event. There's too many to mention here but I cannot thank you all individually enough. Without you all, this event couldn't have ran so I thank you for that Anyway, I hope you all have an excellent 2020 and I'm looking forward to what this year brings ?

Hello everyone, Virtual Trucking Companies are a major reason why people play TruckersMP. Playing with others, discussing trucks, convoys and making friends. You can find VTCs in our English VTC section or the language VTC sections. The English forum section has been created years ago and there are over 9000 posts. We have received a lot of feedback from users who were trying to find a new VTC and failed because there is no proper overview. We have also received feedback from people who wanted to advertise their VTC in the VTC section but don't agree with our current requirements. Your feedback is important to us. In 2019, we launched our new VTC System on our website. Over 7000 VTCs registered and over 23000 people are a member of a VTC at the moment. This is a lot! We have plans to add more features to the VTC system, website and game-related. The website system allows VTCs to present themselves with a name, slogan, logo, descriptions, requirements, rules and much more. From what we have heard, this system is better than the forum sections. We will archive all forum VTC sections on February 2nd, 2020. If you own a VTC and haven't created a VTC on our system yet: Here is how. VTC owners can advertise their VTC in our Discord guild if they meet the minimum requirements. A rule update will be released shortly. Large VTCs can apply for verification and gain access to more features and greater visibility. You can find more information here. Hello there, Unfortunately, World of Trucks - the system in which external contracts/cargo run under - is not compatible with ProMods - or any other map modification - as it is designed solely for use via the base map. Therefore, when you attempt to take an external contract/cargo via ProMods, you will quickly receive an error as the software is unable to correctly determine your location. If the HCT trailer you use is a default one, so it isn't a save-edited trailer, or if it is save-edited but it is not longer than a default HCT trailer, then you are allowed to drive it anywhere. However, you have to keep in mind that you won't find any jobs for it outside of Finland unless you modify the game files, and if you teleport to a repair station your trailer will most likely spawn on top of the repair stations fence, and that can make you bug out and send you flying.

Oh my god!! Im stupid! I just saw that exists one server in multiplayer for promods... I thought that all servers work with promods... xDD One question, World of Trucks(external jobs) work in Promods? Thanks a lot!

Hello @cobrew2003, First, I recommend that you check your DLCs for TruckersMP. To do this, do the following: > Go to https://truckersmp.com/profile/settings. > Under the 'Linked Games / DLC' tab, click 'Check DLC'. Next, I think you may have loaded ProMods incorrectly. Do the following: > Open Euro Truck Simulator 2 in singleplayer. > Go to your mod manager. > Make sure your ProMods files are in this order (top to bottom): (ProMods Middle-East Add-On Pack 2.43 Def & Map) - Only if you're using the Middle East Add-On. (ProMods Middle-East Add-On Pack 2.43 Assets) - Only if you're using the Middle East Add-On. ProMods 2.43 Def ProMods 2.43 Map ProMods 2.43 Models 1 ProMods 2.43 Models 2 ProMods 2.43 Models 3 ProMods 2.43 Media ProMods 2.43 Assets ---------------------------------------- > Make sure you have no other mods enabled!!! > Press 'Apply' in the mod manager and continue in game. > Once you are in the game, make a new save. > Exit out of ETS 2. > Now launch TruckersMP. > Log in and choose a ProMods server (i.e. Promods 1) and when it loads do not touch the files in the mod manager (They will have a red exclamation mark, but this is supposed to happen as TruckersMP has its own mod manager). > Continue into the game. > You will get an error message saying 'Missing modifications detected'. > You must click on 'Load Anyway' and ProMods should start correctly. You can also check this post out in the knowledge base, but I've already given you all the information: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/614 .
