Such a shame to see the Caravan being added to be honest. This is a Truck Simulator, and it feels that this is just moving towards a driving simulator. Remember your roots!

Hey all! I just have to clear something of my chest really quick. Now, with the recent update of caravans I have noticed a few good words and a few bad words. A lot of people have said that TMP has made a mistake whilst the other half is saying it's a good idea. Now, what frustrates me quite a bit is the majority of the community go straight to making assumptions without seeing a possible outcome when something new comes out. Majority of people are feeling angered and pretty much upset because of the caravan which I believe they shouldn't be. The caravan has been out since 11 AM this morning and it's something which could give a lot of enjoyment out of it. It's not something which gains more trolls, if trolls are seen abusing them then thats fine. Our game moderators will deal with it but please face the fact that every multiplayer game is going to have a troll. You can't stop/help that apart from banning them of course. What I would like to ask to the community is give the caravan a chance. Give it about a week or 2 then give your personal opinions on it. Because at the moment of time all I see is assumptions because those people won't give it a chance to have it's run. So lets please wait and give the caravan a chance. Who knows, it could be the best thing for TruckersMP (Not saying it will) Personally I have not tried the caravan yet and to be honest I am actually looking forward to trying it out. It's something new and it's something which makes me excited. But apart from that, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day and happy trucking! P.S this is just my personal opinion. I am not trying to start an argument or anything

It's Sunday, truckers!

Flew out of Tromsø tonight towards London and Gatwick with Norwegian Air International for a 3 and a half hour flight, was a nice flight with Scotty and another guy (which I don't know the forum nick of but Monkern60 on discord). Lovely weather over with a bit of turbulence between 13 000ft and 10 000ft on approach to Gatwick, for those of you who care my landing rate into Gatwick was -134fpm. Also FYI I still really like the Tromsø Airport and scenery. All parked up at Gatwick and now gonna call it a night.

Thx for this years winter mod It has been fantastic The snow on the roads and the snow fall that was falling all the time just brilliant Gonna miss winter mod but will be nice to have colours and scenery back Caravans for cars Fantastic Thx Looking forward to trying that out later What does this mean? ^ thats just EU1 right The city speed limit is that just around the depos or the whole city area, I'm wondering for the areas in Italy, France and Scandinavia where cities are separated by motorways/highways

What have you expect what I am going to do with the caravan? Of course go camping. @GGF MD and I are going to drive the Italy to do camping of course. We departed in Hamburg and now we are somewhere in Switzerland, danmit GGF I told you to buy a Map of Europe. We are ready to go. First fuel stop Erm, lets do a little break and a BBQ. T-Bone Steak, hmmm... A break at the border of Switzerland, I guess, tja... GGF if you had brought a map. Let‘s make some Smores, a second BBQ and after that let‘s go sleep. People complain about removing cars (I'm neutral about this) and introducing something like: I don't know what to think about it... I don't know what to think about the words of some admin, that cars with trailer are still forbidden... Oh, and loved limiter up to 60km/h in cities (45mph in ATS) came everywhere. That's what I don't understand, because there are places where I catch the city zone, and there is a highway or a limit to 80km/h even... ehh... next stupid changes according to me.

Finally I will not be the only one who is driving 60km/h in city! Great update, keep up the good work to have it as a real simulator. But maybe it would be good to disable it on EU4 since there is no collision.

Suggestion Name: Add time stamps in chat Suggestion Description: Have the feature of enabling time stamps in chat which will refer to the real server time (the same as what the /time command displays). Any example images: Example of time stamps in Steam Chat Why should it be added?: Would be practical and easier in regards of reporting messages or any information shown in the chat (especially spam). It would also be quicker than having to type the /time command frequently when creating evidence for a person spamming or blocking for example. And of course be a neat feature I think many would appreciate having, also including that it would be toggleable.

Suggestion Name: Tweak the town speed limiter/ Town boundaries Suggestion Description: While i fully agree with the new town speed limiter of 60kph , i believe that it should be tweaked a bit for example Stockholm and Odence , Take Odence for starters , your on the motorway (with the town either side of you ) because of this the motorway is classed as a town boundary which means your limited to the new speed limit for towns , even though you are not in the town you are on the motorway which separates the town on both hillsides next to you so either the town boundaries has to be tweaked or the limiter for that motorway , the same can be said about Stockholm , you are above the town when going on the motorway however it still classes you as being in the town. Any example images: none (however i can get examples if needed) Why should it be added?: The motorways are totally separate to the towns and dont affect them, so the town boundaries either need to be tweaked or the town speed limiter needs to be removed from the affected sections (more towns may be affected , i cant say as Odence and Stockholm are on my main routes)

Suggestion Name: remove air presure from cars Suggestion Description: i cant see a reason for the cars to have air presure..its anoing and not "simulation" you know.. Any example images: n/a Why should it be added?: because this its not in the real life!!

Cars are of course allowed to carry the caravan. We'll currently allow a truck carrying a caravan too untill a hotfix is released. The rules will be updated shortly.

I hope that the 60 km/h speedlimiter in cities reduce the accidents there. I really like the new speed limiter regulation, since I am a very realistic driver and I always follow the traffic rules. It is great to see that trucks are not overtaking with 100 km/h anymore. Also I love these caravan trailers. Anyway, thanks for the update.
