  1. It is with much regret that I announce my resignation from TruckersMP. During my time as CM and FMM, I've had a lot of stress, and this has been affecting my health. I am so, so sorry I have let you all down, and after just 3 days as well. However, I do need to focus on myself too, and therefore, it is with so much regret that I waddle on to take care of myself. Take care, noot noot and Waddle On! I'd also like to point out that no, I was not kicked. I am leaving because I cannot cope with the stress of it all, and I need to look after myself.

  2. I will say this from my time as PM here, if you attack the staff, you lose your right to have a proper say in the debate that happens after. Protest and such needs to be respectful and not attacking yet when someone gets removed for often violating internal security policies, this happens. It happened when I was involved in the project and it happens again now. I am not impressed with the behaviour made by some. Now, I don't even come here because I was asked to, I read about it on the Facebook group that I'm still part of. I don't wade into this lightly. But this kind of behaviour is highly inappropriate and not deserved from the team. They have the policies in place for a reason going back longer than a year and they were put in place to stop incidents like this from happening, but if people break those policies that they should know full well about then that's on them. If you don't like something, say something, but don't be disrespectful about the matter in the process. It only hurts your argument. If someone on your side starts attacking, call them out and ask them to stop because it hurts your argument. This applies in this matter and all others. It's hard for the team to kick someone like that, they don't want to have to make that call, and I know from experience having made that call in the past. I will say this again, do not attack the team to get your point across. Don't break the rules just because you disagree with something. And in the wise words of Wil Wheaton, just don't be a dick.

  5. One thing is protesting peacefully, another one protesting like some of the Polish members decided to do. I haven't expected such a behaviour from team members, it was a Discord server, it could've been handled peacefully, just really unhappy and sad way how our team members decided to handle it. All of this could've been handled peacefully but you chose to not do so. You guys are just damaging your own Polish community and if you don't stop, it'll be handled as all other language discussions here, Polish community will be barely recognized as it is now. There's still maybe a little bit of time left for the responsible ones to step up and say no and stop this, or atleast protest in peaceful way. Pointing fingers and accusing eachother of something isn't right. All depends on you guys, you are forming the future of the Polish community, don't let it be gone. Poland deserves it's own place, like it used to be till now, so there's always a point in handling things in a human way. Just try to get a discussion going with upper staff members and sort things out, but don't attack anyone, that's not what protesting is about, just handle it properly and in the right way guys.

  6. Since we are currently unable to provide proper Polish support at our forum due to lack of Polish staff members dedicated to those duties, we decided not to feature the Polish language section on the main page anymore. This section has now been moved to all other languages. This move is not final and can be undone in the future if the situation restores.

  7. To all Polish people that are reading this, please consider doing the following: Gather as much Polish people as possible in a common forum or chat, reach out to your people. Explain the situation, the actual truth and not how you want to see things. It is important. Try to make your community to elect someone to represent the entire Polish community. Make up a plan, a list of items you want to discuss or work out a solution your community thinks is realistically. When ready (take as long as you need), let that one guy you all elected come to us so we can have a friendly talk and find a solution together. We are willing to talk and work out a solution that we all can agree on and be happy with. Just know that actions that have been done are irreversible.

  8. In my opinion, the best solution is scarface and konfig0 resign from their position.

  9. Geez is this a kindergarten or what. First off, you need to show some respect to get some respect and that applies to all so I don't get it why you have to run around calling others bad things etc, that is just completely unnecessary and uncalled for. Man up instead and show the rest that you are better than that, that you can behave properly and not act like a 12 year old kid. I don't like taking sides especially since we all know that there's often two sides to every story, but the behavior (as previously stated by some in this thread) by some here recently have just been ridiculous and to be honest quite shocking, some people that I thought higher of has now shown me their true face I suppose which is honestly shocking. And threatening people, what's up with that? Do you really think it's okey to threaten people? How would you feel if someone threatened you instead? You wouldn't like it that much I think, well do you think anyone likes it? I actually feel sorry for our upper staff at this moment by the amount of crap they've been getting from some, it's again ridiculous and also uncalled for and above all unfair! So once again MAN UP! If you have issues with anything or consider something to be bad then that's fine, we all have different opinions on things but that does not mean we should go berserk and threaten people or misbehave. If you have issues with something or consider something to be wrong then bring it up in a well manner, point out what you think is wrong, why you think so, a possible solution etc and you will get heard and you will get answered properly as well. Or is it simply just too much to ask that people be polite nowadays.

  10. We've opened up a possibility of solving this whole argument, all we ask is that you consider the quote above. We aren't really open for any other path because we feel this is the most realistic one - so this is the way to proceed if you want to end this with a solution for both parties. We are open to speak, we really are. But that should not only come from us, lets get this settled forever so we can stop the endless discussions. We feel that we've been transparent enough by letting this post open, and let everyone share their views. However we do not think that by leaving this topic open we're going to make progress. Feel free to DM Scarface0359 or me, we're open to get this over with.

  11. It's not only my opinion but hundreds od Poles. I won't speak much - you'll see on Saturday.
    6 points
  12. Well, we're also open to speak to you but we can ask you the same question, how? If you will proceed to go down the path you are taking right now, you won't be taken very seriously I am afraid. Making offensive and vulgar memes, insulting (and threatening staff, such as 'we will find you') seems like you're a bunch of trolls willing to achieve nothing. I'm sure that that is not how you want to come across, so I suggest switching over to a better tactic such as peacefully talking - but we've said this before, the choice is up to you. Same as I've told before, this complete post is based on the truth and nothing else. You keep claiming we are not telling the truth, but we're completely honest here. The situation described in the topic is how it went, the question is if you are willing to accept and face reality.

  13. If one of their protest leaders can be calm and respectful, and wishes to approach us they can always do. However, the way things have been going during the past few days and how things are looking now, I don't expect it happening. We are not against the Polish community, despite what they may be claiming, but we are not able to have conversations with people that can not show respect to us. We have tried this, but it didn't work.

  14. The initial break of the ISP was an unofficial discord used by Polish team members. Obviously after this was removed, and we unfortunately had to remove an upper-staff member for it, certain members of that Discord started a protest. We proceeded to create a seperate channel in our internal official staff Discord, to create clear communication with those that were angry and voiced their concerns. Quickly it came to our attention information was leaked from this channel, not personal information but messages which were send by upper-staff (Scarface0359, Humanewolf and me) were leaked to people outside the team. This obviously broke the ISP, and a few former team members have been kicked for that too. I can assure you that any personal information of accounts has not been in danger a single moment, but only messages from 1 single channel were leaked to non-staff.

  18. I think this is all a big waste of time. No one likes everyone. Plus there are bigger problems in the world than some people falling out over a trucking game that is not even owned by TMP. So do what I do. Sit back and chilllllllllllllllll.

  19. @Mikkell [PL/SE] the concrete answer you got was exactly what Smalley said. We are not deleting, or removing the Polish community at all. What might happen is that it will be minimized to International Languages (like any other language) now so many team members decided to leave or were kicked. This leaves us with little to no support of the language; and therefore we may have to take this decision. Furthermore, I don't really appreciate it if you start to lie about the answers we have given you to create a new discussion. If people have any more questions, feel free to ask them here or in a DM, preferably tag me so I can see it. Regards, konfig0

  27. I was about to write a longer answer about it, but I'll fill in some gaps instead: The reason this is pretty serious is because TruckersMP has a lot of data. Our ability to protect it and keep it safe depends on our knowledge of where it is. As such, while there is no reason to suspect any unauthorized person accessed personal data in this case, we can not take the risk of having a channel of communication we can not control. In addition, this is a direct violation against our Information Security Policy, and one that is explicitly listed as an example of what is not allowed at that.

  28. Okay, this is getting out of hand. I still cannot get through my head how can people be so stubborn at some points. A team member was removed/left from the team due to ISP leakage, which is more than fair, as the certain member, agreed onto doing so upon his promotion to whatever position in the team. Now, because he was removed, people tend to act up and sum up their own things; such as TMP being against Poles, which is completely incorrect; and nevertheless, them protesting and misbehaving both on forums and discord wouldn't have helped the situation either. Many of the Upper Staff warned most of them, some were even kicked from Discord due to their excessive spam. I won't repeat the same as konfig0 and HumaneWolf did. They should get some sense knocked into themselves and realise their own value and opportunities. P.P.: I had no intentions of replying, but I had to state what my opinion is. Regards, Martin.

  29. Sad to see the way things are still developing with this, the TMP team don't deserve to have to deal with all this. Best way to deal with situations like this is calmly with respect for everyone and discuss it to try to resolve it. Worst thing people can do is react in anger and start attacking TMP and the staff. Its better to take yourself away from the situation and calm down, think about it and then come back to respond. You will never get everything you want here or have everything the way you would like it to be - I'm sure everyone here even staff have something that they do not like or somethings they'd like to see done in a different way but we all got to accept that we cannot always get what we want. This mod started in Poland but it is an international community with people here from all over the world and correct me if i'm wrong but its not the largest as the Turkish community is much larger isn't it? Bandero made a mistake and broke a rule and seems to have dealt with that in a good way be choosing to leave rather then get kicked so respect to him for that. Surely would have been better to work with TMP to find a suitable replacement rather then whats happened and then deal with the issues without the attacks on TMP causing status updates to be turned off yesterday. This is only my personal opinion but my view on these team members who get kicked or leave for breaking rules like KacakTV and Bandero is that no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes sometimes and I personally believe that given sometime and seeing how they act afterwards (i.e - not causing issues or attacking TMP etc) is that they should be given a 2nd chance and allowed back in a trial role at first. However I fully understand that due to the rules broken chances are they could never come back and everyone should accept that. If you are part of a team then internal matters are meant to stay internal, its one of the most important things about being in a team and the first thing you have to read/sign. I know what I mean with this as I am part of the Atlas Gaming Community Staff.

  37. @Trucker[PL/EN] we wouldn't have an internal discord if everything that gets posted on it is public knowledge. The discord is part of the ISP, anything which is said there has to stay there unless a Project Manager or Developer tells otherwise. We're very cautious towards our ISP, and I recommend to search up GPDR if you want to know why we take it so seriously.

  41. In my opinion, I work in a system that subordinates to the Ministry of Defense in my country, and I come here to give a simple answer, what happens in the administration of TruckersMP, has to be in the administration of TruckersMP. If you join a team, you have to know that to keep a team together, trust is the foundation of everything. Internal affairs about the management of some organization, have to be restricted only in that circle, because they are things that may or may not happen in the future. The moment leaks happen, things never go as expected. As a Brazilian member of this community humbly, I ask that other members not insist on these matters. TruckersMP administration will solve problems peacefully. Do not try to act with some form of violence, this only makes the situation worse. ~DJFrontier

  43. It’s a shame that a certain minority of people just go and ruin their country’s reputation within the community. Being completely honest - I think that support for all languages besides English should be as equal as possible. Granted, if there is a majority, they could be supported further. The Turkish community is much larger than the Polish one in this mod, so... I’ll let you think about that
