Suggestion Name: Role Play company Suggestion Description:Hello all! I think you know what is "Role Play". It's gaming with roles. So, this idea visited me when I played GTA San-Andreas Multiplayer on the Role Play server. There was like a real world, where I was a policeman. So, then I decided to make my own company in ETS 2 MP, and I remembered that server where people played with roles. Someone was a medic, someone was a mayor of the city, someone was a bandit etc. So, I offer to make a Role Play server or a Role Play company and add new commands in chat and maybe make documents for a trailer: /do - description of the action by third persons (/do Denis has got documents for a trailer in folder) /me - when man is doing something by himself. (/me pulled documents for a trailer from the folder) /try - when man tried to do something. (/try opened the folder with documents [Done]/[Not done]) /showlicenses - command to show licenses/documents /showpassport - command to show passport of the driver. Thanks for attention, I tried to tell about my idea. Really would like to read your comments. Any example images: No. Why should it be added?: It could become more interesting to play and more realistic (especially in that moment, when someone of administrators is making a police car).

Witam. Wczoraj weszła aktualizacja mp 1.9 pobrałem ja odpaliłem i gram. Za chwilę wywala mi prąd w miejscowości i po 20 minutach wchodzę do gry i wybieram profil a tu wywala mi ets a i komunikat gamę Crashed fatal error i ze mogę wysłać crash.log do kogoś tam. Jakieś sugestie? Szukałem po forach ale nie może nic znaleźć i żadne rozwiązanie nie pomaga. Oryginalny ets ze steam na singlu działa tylko na multi crash

Jeśli chodzi o uczenie programowania to na pewno szkoła nie nauczy Cię programować na tyle byś mógł pisać choćby Multiplayer'a A tak na serio jeśli chodzi o programowanie to nauczysz się podstaw takich języków jak Java, C++ czy ewentualnie Delphi lecz są to tylko podstawy. Jeśli samemu nie będziesz się rozwijał i szukał wiedzy lub ewentualnie poszerzał jej na kołach informatycznych (jeżeli takowe są) to szczytów niestety nie osiągniesz, gdyż będziesz znał tylko podstawy. Wszystko oczywiście zależy od programu nauczania, który i tak zmienił się dość znacznie w porównaniu do tego co miałem ja, a ukończyłem technikum rok temu. Jeśli chodzi o teorię to u mnie jej jako tako nie było w nadmiarze, owszem swoje trzeba było wiedzieć ale w większości przypadków to była praktyka. Co do tego czego nauczysz się w takiej szkole, hmm. Pojmiesz jakieś podstawowe rzeczy z dziedzin programowania, systemów operacyjnych, sieci, pakietów biurowych czy pisania stron to na pewno. Z tego co widziałem jak przygotowywali się nasi nauczyciele do wprowadzania nowej podstawy programowej to są też jakieś manualne ćwiczenia ze sprzętem, ale co dokładnie to musiałaby się wypowiedzieć osoba, która nie zakończyła jeszcze nauki, gdyż nasza podstawa programowa w sprawie dłubania w sprzęcie raczej nie miała nic.

Wszystko zależy od szkoły i nauczyciela. I Twojego nastawienia Jeśli idziesz do technikum informatycznego z myślą, że będziesz robił gry jak spora część gimbów to możesz się mocno przejechać. Kilka osób uciekło na początku pierwszej klasy gdy zobaczyli systemy liczbowe czyli czystą matematykę. Zresztą jeśli wybierasz się na ten profil nastaw się na rozszerzoną matematykę i fizykę. Co do samego nauczania - tak jak mówiłem - zależy od nauczyciela. Przykładowo kwalifikację E.12 - montaż i eksploatacja komputerów osobistych - miałem przez 2 lata (w 1 i w 2 klasie). W 1 klasie rzeczywiście można było to nazwać nauką, była teoria i praktyka. Natomiast w 2 klasie zmienił się nauczyciel i totalnie nas olał. Nie robiliśmy nic przez cały rok. A mimo to zdałem teorię na 80% (50% na zaliczenie). Tak więc do tego trzeba uwzględnić czy ten kierunek Cię interesuje czy upatrzyłeś sobie tylko jedną rzecz. Mi egzaminy poszły dobrze mimo kiepskiego nauczyciela, bo się tym interesowałem. Chcesz iść na programistę? Studia Jeśli chcesz się dostać na lepsze studia wypadałoby zdobyć tytuł technika informatyka. Tytuł dostajesz jeśli w ciągu 4 lat zdasz wszystkie kwalifikacje: E.12 (pisałem o niej wyżej) E.13 (projektowanie lokalnych sieci komputerowych i administrowanie sieciami) E14 (tworzenie aplikacji internetowych i baz danych oraz administrowanie bazami)

How about fixing the trailer desync issues, you can't pick anything up because the trailers just explode all over the place with 100% damage! REALLY ANNOYING

I used to play a lot on that server years ago! It was a very cool server, but not really a roleplay one. I remember this cool option where you could overload your truck and if you get caught by another player in a police car you could get fined or arrested. And also the fact you could buy houses and cars was yet another reason to make you want to keep playing!

I really like this Idea. As Sunort said, Kids/Rammers will leave and we will be left with a much better community, with more serious players.+1

Oto PANWEKI ( VOLVO ) , które dowieźliśmy dojechało aż 14 ładunków z panewkami do Goteborg, jest to wyśmienity wynik !! Dziękujemy wszystkim za przybycie na nasz event , współpracowaliście wyśmienicie , nie musieliśmy ani jednej osoby "mutować"!!! Jak widać można? MOŻNA !!!

To był najlepszy konwój w jakim jechałem! Mimo, że każdy miał głos na TS nikt się nie przekrzykiwał, organizacja była super, Vector odpowiadał praktycznie na każde pytanie, nie było żadnych pomyłek z trasą. Organizacja tej imprezy nie pozostawiała nic do życzenia, może być wzorem dla organizatorów innych konwojów, było widać, że to była 4 edycja tego eventu. Obiecane screeny otwieramy poprzez kliknięcie w każdy prawym przyciskiem myszy i otwieramy w nowym oknie, bo przy przyblizaniu przez klik zwykły traci się na jakości : http://imgur.com/a/s9VDq Pragnę też podziękować wszystkim uczestnikom za bardzo przyjazną atmosferę, porównując z innymi konwojami, ten naprawdę był bardzo przyjemny, dużo dobrego poczucia humoru jak i zero niepotrzebnych spin. I think putting some ROLEPLAY to the game will a good improvement; people would care more about doing things wrong and probably if they do, they wouldn´t be "cecause of fun". I mean, kids would exit the MP because of the high level of ROLEPLAY that players would represent, and more experienced people would join us, So we win in all aspects: -Kids, rammers, trolls OUT -Increase the number of serious people who just want to enjoy the game without bothering other´s people game. -Decrease the admin´s and moderators job. I don´t know what do you think, but I think that if more ROLEPLAY is applied, we´ll win in all aspects

^ The game administrators are getting a lot of reports every minute, and I do not think they have time roleplaying it. I personally like the idea, but they should maybe get out of Alpha before starting on something like this. -Happy Trucking!

This will be a different aspect to the game I also used to play a Samp roleplay server and I found it very fun, this would be cool in a few aspects - If you were to roleplay a crash with another driver - Also to do with the crash aspect maybe you could do /showinsurance aswell like exchanging insurance details if there is a crash - Maybe if the admins wanted they could use their police cars to roleplay maybe a pursuit? and other things +1 from me.

Oh wow Convoy Trucking... I played on Truckmania- we were all hating on CT because they copied the scripts from TM, not sure how true that is though xD. On the other hand I wouldnt say any of the servers are RP, not even light RP.Anyway to topic. RP like in SA:MP will more or less never fit ETS2MP, by one, the developers wont let regular users have other cars such as police or ambulance. Another thing is you cant go out of your truck meaning the /do commands are restricted to in-cabin stuff such as turning on the ignition. RP most likely doesnt fit a good percentage of the ETS2MP players, it will easely be to complicated and annoying for users in general :/

+1, My company is always trying to give us that type of roleplay, and I really love it. I also played in San Andreas Multiplayer in a server called Convoy Trucking, where you could be a trucker, policeman or civilian, even criminal. The roles where really nice made, you had your own truck, a place to park it, a crew with more people, and a garaje or basement. You could also carry ilegal loads, and been stopped by policemans, fined or imprisoned. That server was amazing, and I really loved it. So I´ll give you a HUGE +1

I can see where you are coming from with this and I think it would be nice to have something to make it easier to identify who's nearer or the farthest, however, the players list already have a distance meter. What I think would work better is if the names would switch places around as the distances change. Like... the nearest a player is to you, the closer his/her name shows to yours, for example. The downside to that is the frequency which names would change around. Would probably make it confusing to keep track of someone in particular you might want, for instance. I guess that with that being said, just colors might be the best route. Which after all makes my post somewhat irrelevant. lol I just wonder if that would cause any extra load on the client since they'll have extra data to process.

Absolute NO. This will not work. 99% of the commands that you suggested are straight ripped off from SAMP RP. Closest thing that you will get to roleplay in ETS is creating a company, and using TS3 as your CB radio. It will not work. Hate to say it. As people said before that the cops will be restricted to admins, and admins only. And honestly how often do you see an admin on the streets? Honestly, the only time I've seen them is in a convoy, and maybe a few other times by them self. Adding a new model into the game will just create more lag. And as one stated before it is hard enough to get players to follow basic driving rules, adding rules to roleplay ontop of that is ridiculous. Let alone a lot of the users on Euro Truck doesn't even speak English. And you can't really get out of your car or anything either. If you would like to roleplay, get a group of friends in a parking lot and use ** **. I don't think the community is remotely close to do this. And it will not work.

Why not? It's fun when you do it with the right people. My opinion on this matter regarding ETS2MP is that this community isn't really the place for this. You aren't going to find many hardcore RP-ers here.

There is only one place for role play - and it is not online ;-)
